Buffy and Faith rushed into the storeroom of the Magick Box side-by-side, with the others closely following.

"Anya, my God, what happened to you?" Buffy asked, helping her up. Her head was matted with dry blood, and she looked pale and stricken.

"Some vampires, they came in here...when I wouldn't give it to them, they kicked the crap out of me and left."

"Anya, what did these vampires look like?" Spike asked.

"There was one...she looked kind of...not-altogether-there..."

"Anya, what did they take?" Buffy asked sharply. She hadn't known the former vengeance demon to refuse customers, even if they were vampires.

"They took- where's Xander?" Buffy blinked, and Faith and Spike traded looks.

"Anya, what did they take?" Buffy repeated, avoiding the other woman's question.

"Some spellbooks and the Amulet of Fen'rath."

Spike's eyebrows shot up. "Bloody hell. We had that in here all the time and you never bothered to tell me?"

"What's the Amulet of Farenheight?"

"Fen'rath, Buffy. If it's used properly, and with the correct spells...well, it was rumoured to have almost ended the Slayer line once."

"And now Angel's got it," Faith interjected disgustedly.

"...Where's Xander?"
