Just One of the Girls: Surprises

Angel and Spike both awoke slowly in the basement of Buffy’s house. Angel opened his eyes first, and blinked quite a few times. He thought he was dreaming. Spike also had to blink, but it did nothing to change what he saw before him. “Bloody hell,” Spike said, and realized that it wasn’t his voice that he heard, but a girl’s voice. “What the – “ Angel said, and he too realized that he spoke with a women’s voice. They both quickly realized something was wrong when they looked at each other, and instead of seeing a bare-chested man, they each saw a bare-chested girl.

Sam yawned and stretched. She’d had a fitful night’s sleep. She turned over, opened her eyes, and screamed. “What?” Riley asked, then stopped. He didn’t hear his voice, but the voice of a teenage girl. “Riley, I think something is wrong,” Sam said quietly. Riley looked down, and instead of seeing his body, he saw the body of a 16 – year – old girl. “This really is no good,” Riley said grimly.

Xander and Giles each woke up, and walked to their respective bathrooms. When they saw their reflections in the mirror, they each had their own unique reaction. “Good Lord,” Giles said when he saw the female face looking back at him. When Xander saw the girl reflected back at him, he immediate reaction was “Oh shit!”

Buffy, Dawn, Tara, Willow, and Sam all stared in awe at the five teenage girls standing before them. They were all in various stages of dress, but at least they were all covered up. “All right, now who’s who here?” Buffy asked. A tall girl with long, pitch-black hair, and brown eyes said, “I’m Angel.” Next to Angel stood a bleached blonde with blue eyes, who said only one word, “Spike.” A girl with sandy blonde hair, and green eyes said, “I’m Giles.” Next to Giles stood a woman with long, light brown hair, and blue eyes, who said, “I’m Riley.” Lastly came a girl with long, dark brown hair and hazel eyes. She kept fiddling with her hair, trying to get it out of eyes. There was only one guess who it could be. “Hey Xander,” Willow said with a big grin. A while later, everyone had come up with a plan. They would pair up, girls with guys. The girls would be able to help the guys adjust. Also, they would be doing research, trying to figure out what exactly was happening.
