Timeline: Occurs after 'Normal Again' and 'As You Were'

“What are you doing in Sunnydale?” Buffy asked. “Well, Sam and I are in town for debriefing. Well, okay, the debriefing was yesterday, but they told us to take a couple of weeks off,” Riley said. “Well, if you’re looking for a place to stay, you can stay here,” Buffy said. “Thanks,” Riley said, and went to fetch Sam, who was waiting in the car. Soon, everyone had gathered at the Summers’ residence, including Spike and Angel, who had formed an uneasy truce. Angel was in town trying to help Buffy cope with her recent mental hospital hallucinations. Buffy had called everyone there for a nice meal. During the meal, animated conversations were being had all around. They were happening between the males and the females; each was lamenting the problems of their sex. They were also arguing over the fact that the opposite sex had it easier. All in all, it was an eventful night.
