This Year's Girl: Birth

After an intense 18 hours of labor at Sunnydale Hospital, Buffy the former Vampire Slayer gave birth to her and Angel's first child they brought, a boy as Whistler promised who was going to be name Connor, into the world at 9:55 PM.

Sweat dripped from Buffy's forehead, wetting some of the strands of her blond hair as she took a deep breath and smiled at her love, who was now her fiancée, the former Vampire with a Soul, Angel and her best friend Willow, who was holding her hand. "That was really intense," said Buffy. Angel smiled at her and kissed her softly on her forehead, experiencing the happiest day in his life.

"Yeah it was. But you still looked beautiful just like an angel," he said, kissing her. She smiled at him. "Congrats, Buffy. I'm so happy for you," her best friend Willow said as she hugged her friend. " Thanks, Will. At least now the painful as hell contractions stopped. they really did hurt," groaned Buffy as she sat up, waiting for her baby to come while the nurses were cleaning the infant.

"Now you guys are Mommy and Daddy. How does it feel to be a Mom Buffy? Now they you're no longer the Slayer?" asked Willow. "It feels really good. i feel so happy having Angel's child. and finally having a normal life. i feel bad that Giles, Mom, Xander, Oz, and Cordelia weren't here though." Yeah me too. How bout you Angel?" "It feels really great. Can't wait to see our child. I’m sure he's beautiful."

"Oh there he is Buffy. He looks so beautiful," squealed Willow, the nurse actually giving the infant to Willow to hold. "He looks just like you Angel," she smiled, playing with the infant's hand. the infant just looked at Willow with big brown eyes, the same color eyes as Angel.

"He's so adorable." "Let me see," squealed Buffy as Willow gently gave her Angel and Her’s son. "Will's right Angel he looks just like you. Hey there sweetie. We're your new Mommy and Daddy." Buffy gently kissed her son on his bald head. The baby looking at his new daddy and mommy, not even crying.

"My baby boy. he does look like me, Buff," said Angel, holding his son. "So Buffy, Angel what are you guys going to name your child?" asked the curious Willow. Buffy and Angel look at each other, then answered, "We decided to name him Connor," Buffy said. Looking and sounding pleased with the answer.

"Cute name. Now all we have to do is get your wedding set," Willow smiled at her best friend. Buffy smiled back at her. "Yep, i think that's the last thing we need to do. You happy with that Angel?"

Angel just looked at her. "I'm happy with everything, You, our child, our friends, everything. I love you so much." He kissed her . "I love you too. Now we just got to get married and invite our loved ones and we're all set." Buffy sat up. "Is your baby going to have your guys' supernatural powers?" Willow questioned. " Yeah Will he is and so are we. Even if I'm not the Slayer anymore the Powers gave us our powers in case." "That settles it then."

Willow, Angel, and Buffy each took turns playing with the infant, smiling and feeling completely happy for the first time ever in 4 years.

The sun glowed through the window, giving a soft warm glow on Buffy and Angel's child, the child of the two greatest Warriors for the Powers That Be.

Their pride and joy.
