What happens now?: Arrivals and Disruptions

Next morning when Buffy woke up, Angel was already at her door woth her waffles on a tray, along with her daily portion of pineapple juice, a rose and her schedule that Giles had drawn up for her. Buffy groaned. "Do I have to start training them again?" she asked Angel with pleading eyes. He smiled, "See, we had an idea about that, we are all gonna help, Giles is gonna teach the girls how to use the books, Wesley and Fred are Gonna teach them languages, Me, faith and Gunn are going to teach them hand to hand, you and Kennedy are going to teach them weaponry and Willow is going to attempt to teach them magic. Just to share the load around a bit." Buffy smiled at him lovingly, "So you don't mind your well run organisation turning into a slayer academy?" She said with a laugh. When she said this Angel suddenly became edgy. "That's the other thing, due to the new work load, we have decided to close Angel investigations and focus on the potentials for a while, untill they can pratice their fighting on theur own now and again." Buffy took a few seconds to process this new information, although she wasn't happy with the fact that she had ruind Angel's buisness, at least for the next couple of months, she understood his motives. After she had eaten breakfast she and Angel went down to the lobby to arrange the girls into classes. Agreeing that they couldn't teach all the girls at the same time.
They had all agreed, after sorting out classes that the girls were to start classes after lunch, Buffy didn't know who complained more, the teachers or the girls, but the fights died down when they headr Andrew shout, "Lunch's up!" Willow noticed over lunch that Buffy and Angel were whispering a lot and being ver quiet. This started her brain off on one of it's suspisious rampages thinking of all the things that could cause them to act this way. But she soon found out what it was all about when thay both stood up. "Excuse me..." everyone kept talking. "Hello..." still everyone carried on talking, Angel gave up and turned to Buffy for help, she took a deep breath and yelled at the top of her voice, "OI..."The room fell silent, "Thank you, now, um...we have an announcement to make.." A small smile appeared on Faith's face, "I know that at least one person in this room won't approve of this," Angel looked directly at Xander, who immeadiately got suspisious, "But....We're getting Married!" The room burst into a round of, what seemed like endless applause. Willow clicked her fingers and 'Congratulations' banners appeared all arouind the room. Even Giles Congratulated them, Buffy hugged him and thanked him for understanding, he even shock Angels hand. Everyone but Xander was smiling, cheering and hugging them. This made Kennedy loose her temper, she took him to one side, "What the hell is your problem, Why can't you be even a little happy for them, after all they've been through?" Xander was silent for a few seconds before answering, "I just don't want her to get hurt by him agian, you haven't seen wat he's like, if he gets like that again he'll kill her!" "But I won't get like that again!" Angel said from behind him. Xander snapped and inleashed his anger, "HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT? HOW DO YOU KNOW YOU WON'T HURT HER AGAIN?" Angel stayed completely calm and answered, "Coz I'm human now!" Xander turned the most unattractive shade of red, muttered his appology and when back to the mass celebration to apologize to Buffy for his behaviour.
After lunch when the din had calmed down a little, the bordum of classes settled in. While Buffy was trying to teach the girls how to shoot with crossbows, two windows became smashed and several holes where made in the basement door. Repairs of which Bufy had offered to pay for were carried out that evening, by Xander who, still feeling guilty about shouting at Buffy and Angel, tryed to avoid them as much as possible. At the end of the daqy when everyone was collected around the dining hall and foyer, two people walked through the door. One was a tall male will unruly dark brown hair, and the other was a short woman with firey red hair. "Special agent Fox Mulder, this is my partner Dana Scully, who is in charge here?" Angel and Buffy immeadiatly stepped up. "We are, why?" Angel asked looking the man straight in the eye. Upon seeing Angel, Mulder pulled out his gun and aimed it straight at his heart. "I know you, your Angelus!" Buffy stood inbetween Angel and the gun totting FBI agent. "OK, Put that down, unless you have wooden bullets in that gun, all that's gonna do is waste a good shot!" Mulder then shifted slightly so his gun was pointed dirctly at Buffy, "I know you to you're the slayer." This time it was Scully that spoke. "What the hell is going on Mulder?" she asked guideing his gun down so that he rested his arm by his side. "He;s a vampire Scully, she is mean to be killing him, but she's switched sides, Angelus is a brutal bastard by all accounts and yet there he is shacking up with a slayer." Scully looked just about ready to feint. "Whats a slayer?" Buffy, bored by now explained what a slayer was, why she was liing with Angel, and Anything else that came to mind. "Scully, do you realise what this means?" Mulder said excitedly, "That everyone in this hotel is increadibly stoned?" she asked sarcasticly. "No, this is all the proff that we need, this is real live proff to everything that is in the x-files!" Scully groaned having heard that phrase many times before. Their conversations continued well into the night but when it came to everyone bedding up there came a slight problem. "There is only one room left, and it only has a single bed" Fred explained "Which means someone's goin'to have to share" She automaticly looked at Angel and Buffy who hadn't been listening to a word that had been said. "Huh?" Buffy asked confused. "Is. It. Alright. If. The. Two. Of. You. Share. A. Room. Tonight?" Faith said sarcasticly. "Um...yeah sure...speaking of such I'm kinda wired, I'm gonna turn in!" Buffy said with a side ways look at Angel, ": Yeah me to, hard day!" and with that the two of them went upstairs together. "Cold. Shower?" Faith joked, sending everyone into fits of hysterics. But never the less shortly they all retired to bed, well all but scully who decided to stay and read some of Giles and Wesleys books.
"Morning all!" Buffy Said walking down the stairs to the lobby. "Your definatley chipper this morning, have a good night?" Fred asked smiling a sly smile. Buffy was slightly taken aback. "Wow, just think a couple f days ago you would never of said that to me, or at least that was my impression, I think Faith is having a bad influence on you!" she joked, then both girls broke into laughter. "So what I don't understand is how these books were written and no-one ever thought to question their content?" Scully was discussing the legality of Wesley's books. "Let it go Scully, this is absoloutly fascinating, Buffy..." Mulder was of on one of his research kicks. "Listen up P.C Plod. I don't answer questions, my buisness is exactly that, my buisiness any questions that you have, ask my watcher!" she said gesturing to Giles. "What's a watcher?" Mulder asked confused. Scully laughed in the background. "Congratulations people, you have managed to confuse Mulder on the subject of the Supernatural." she joked and then went to get Coffee. "Hey!" Angel said coming down the stairs. "Morning" Buffy aswered beaming and leaned in for a quick kiss. But their peace was soon demolished. "Is this Angel ivestigations?" And boy stood in the doorway, he could have been no older then eighteen. Angel's face dropped 'Connor'! "Uh yes.." "Chill dad I remember everything, you didn't think that foney life thing would hold for ever did you?" Connor asked laughing. "Oh my God.."Mulder started. "Say anything and I will hit you!" Buffy warned glaring at him. Buffy then turned to Connor. "I have heard alot about you, but it's obvious your his son to look at, you have his eyes!" Connor aknoldged this stranger and said, "Yeah that's nice, who are you?" "Uh, Connor why don't you come into the kitchen and I'll explain everything!" Wesley offered taking Connor aside. "The son of a vampire, I..." Mulder never got to finish his sentence because both buffy and Faith hit him very hard on the back of his head. Not hard enough to kill him but hard enough to knock him out of a couple hours at least.
After Mulder had woken up Buffy had explained everything to him so he would stop asking questions and annoying her, but she had only done this on the condition that he WOULD stop asking questions. But then a more pleasent topic of conversation was started up by faith. "So have you guys decided on a date yet?" she asked, all other conversations stopped and all eyes turned to them . Buffy shifted uncomfortably and said, "Um no, we haven't really thought about it much!" "Well there we go, there's a topic for us to talk about, so..." Angel gave Faith his please-don't0start-organising-things face and she just smiled. "What, if it was left up to you nothing would ever get done, your always..." "ech hem, lets just get back to subject shall we!" Buffy said quickly, going over to sit on Angels lap, with the hope of getting rid of some of her uneasiness. "Great so, Angel, what about best man?" Angel thught for a while, "Well I was kind of hoping that Gunn would..." "Yeah sure Angel, thanks, wow, I've been best man." Fred came up and put her hand in his, "You've always been my best man!" This got a responce off 'ahhhhhhhh' from everyone, even Scully. Fred when a little pink before going back to her seat. "Cool, What about Bridesmaids?" Faith asked looking at Buffy. "Um I was thinking Maybe Willow and well...you!" she said, Willow and Faith both blushed a little but both accepted. For the next three hours they decided on all the attendants and everyones jobs. And they all retired to bed.
They all were awoken at about 1:00am by military soldiers. "What the hell is going on?" Angel asked as they dragged him and Buffy out of bed. "We are well aware of what you are Angelus and we are well aware that you need to be exterminated!" one of the soldiers said pulling him before the five rows of people they had formed in the foyer. "I wouldn't do that If I were you!" Mulder said stepping forwarward agressively. "What are you gonna do, we've taken your guns and the only other people here are a group of girls, what are they going to do?" The soldiers laughed. "You put one finger on him and you'll find out!" Buffy said pulling her handcuffs in half. "That's enough of that, I really thought you were over protecting him by now Buffy!" Buffy recognised the voice immeadiately. "Riley! what the hell do you think your doing? Whats the deal?, We haven't done anything!" Riley stepped up and atempted to hit her But Buffy caught his hand before it could make contact, "Getting sloppy in your old age, unless you want me to break your hand let him go, if you don't them I'll break it and a lot more and you know I'm not joking!" Riley smiled, "You're not allowed to hurt me. You may be a super-being but your not a murderer!"
"No I'm not, But Faith is, and Angel and you never know it may just of rubbed of on me a bit!" And with that she squezed his hand enough to break a few bones. She looked at Faith and she nodded. Both ghirls in turn looked at Willow who smiled slyly. "Mulder, Scully get down!" Buffy ordered. "Why?" Scully asked gazing around at the sky "It's about to get very messy in here!" Willow, Buffy and Faith all stepped forward. Willow raised one arm all the girls silenced immeadiatly. Faith raised her arm and all the girls assumed Battle positioned, throwing any soldiers in their way. HJust before Buffy rasied her arm Mulder had the sence to pull Scully and himself behind the desk in the lobby. When Buffy did raise her arm that was the signal the girls needed, as one they all rushed forward. Buffy and Faith ran and Freed Angel so they had one more fighter on their side. Mulder and Scully wtached the bloody fight from their safehaven behind the desk, cringing everytime they heard a bone cracking or fists hitting skin. When the action stopped all the soldiers were tied and gagged in the centre of the floor and and Riley was tied and gagged at the top of the stairs, with Buffy holding a sword to his throut. This was what drove Mulder and Scully out of their hiding place. "Now!" Buffy said, "One reason why I shouldn't kill you, because, coming here in the dead of night, threatening to kill my fiancé and having the cheek to come at all, not reasons stacked in your favour." Angel took the gag away with such force that it must have nearly broke Riley's neck. "I was sent here.." he coughed. "Sent! by who?" Buffy asked still with the sword to his throut. "I don't know his name, he's tall, gray haired, smokes a lot of cigarettes!" "Oh for Gods sake!" Scully yelled, "Do you know him?" Angel asked. "In a way!" Mulder said. Buffy re-gagged Riley and ordered Mulder and Scully to tell them everything they knew!
