Will the Real Buffy Stand Up?: Part One

The house was more busy than it ever had been before. Angel was up-stairs with his beloved holding her hand. Xavier and willow were tending to the children. While Xander and Jopsephine were referring to the books.

Xander- Nothing here on what had just happened.

Josephine- This is weird man.

Xander- I never seen that look on Buffy before.

Josephine- She looked at us like she didn't even know us.

Xander- I had my vampire face on.

Josephine- And she freaked out

Willow walks into the room with Angel sitting next to Buffy's bed stroking her head.

Willow- How is she?

Angel- She looks alright but she doesn't.

Willow- She freak when that light came through.

Angel- Do you know anything about that light?

Willow- No.

Angel- It's like Buffy looked at us like she seen us before but hasn't.

Willow- She saw Xander like she didn't know who he was.

Xavier- Because she didn't.

Willow- Do you know what's going on?

Xavier- That light. It was the same light when I went to that other dimension.

Willow- You mean the one where you kissed that Buffy.

Xavier- Yes honey, it was that Buffy and how many times are you going to bring that up?

Willow- One hundred!

Angel- If we get this Buffy then where's our Buffy.

Somewhere in another dimension. At the Summers house, Giles, Joyce, Willow, Xander, Spike and Angel with Cordeila all are waiting at the living room.

Joyce- I never seen Buffy look like that.

Giles- (Looks at Joyce) She looked at the both of us like see hasn't us in a long time.

Angel- What kind of light was it?

Spike- It was a big blinding light that had sparks coming out of it.

Cordeila- It looked more like fireworks.

Willow- She's coming.

Buffy walks downstairs and looks in the living room to see who's there. Back in the original dimension the other Buffy walks downstairs and sees everyone there.

Angel- Buffy.

Buffy- Angel. What are you doing here?

Buffy walks around and looks at everyone.

Willow- Buffy.

Buffy- Will. Your hair is longer. (Looks at Xander) Your a vampire. How? (Looks at Xavier and Josephine) Who are you? (Looks at Angel) What are you doing here? Where am I?

Back to the Buffy in other dimension

Buffy- Mom.

Joyce- Buffy.

Buffy runs to hug Joyce and starts crying.

Buffy- I missed you.

Joyce- Buffy, what's going on?

Buffy- Giles.

Giles- Yes Buffy I'm right here.

Buffy reaches out her arm to hug Giles.

Buffy- Your alive.

Giles- Yes buffy.

She pauses and feels their pulses.

Buffy- Your alive. (Looks and sees Spike) What is he doing here?

Spike- Hello to you to.

Buffy- Angel. What's he doing here?

Angel- You know.

Buffy- I don't.

Angel- You do.

Buffy then looks at angel's hand and sees no ring. Walks towards Xander and feels for a pulse. She is surprised to find one. She goes to Willow and notice that her hair is short.

Buffy- Something is wrong. Cordeila, Why aren't you pregnant?

Cordeila- Pregnant?

Buffy- Someone please tell me what's going on.

Angel- The light of change. It takes the one who is near it and switches her with another person from another dimension.

Giles- That's what it is.

Buffy- Wait. I need to sit.
