Slayers Are Us: Part One

Part One

"I found it!" the Scooby Doo Gang heard from the back room. Each sighed with relief. Willow and Giles had both been looking for days for a very important spell. A spell that would give a mortal the strength and power of a slayer.

The Watcher's Council had decided that it would be best for Buffy to leave Sunnydale and go find Vampires and Demons and other Forces of Darkness around the world, instead of waiting for them to find her. That is what a real Slayer is supposed to do. Not just sit and wait. Faith had recently been killed and so the Council had chosen a new Slayer. She was to come to Sunnydale to be trained by Giles. Buffy was to leave and slay.

School was over. They had finished their senior year at Sunnydale High. Since they hadn't decided yet about college, Willow, Xander, Angel, Oz, Cordelia, and a new member to the team, David, a special child who's mother was a vampire and his father was not, all decided to go with Buffy to help.

Willow rushed out of the room with an old dusty book in hand. She slammed it down on the table in front of everyone with an accomplished look on her face. She pointed to a passage on a page with "Sharing a Slayer's Strength" as the title. "See? It's right there. The spell is right in front of us!"

"OK people. Let's get crackin'." As Buffy shouted out orders the group went to work, each with there own task. 'This is going to be a great group of slayers,' Buffy thought to herself as she and Willow walked out of the Library.
