Night Stalker: The Gathering of the Scoobies

It was early morning and Buffy had just woken to the sound of her annoying alarm clock. she wanted to just hit snooze, and sleep for a while longer but she new that wasn't an option. because she knew that she had a scooby meeting today and if she blew it off, Giles would have wanted an explaination. and she really didn't have one. Except, she had been patrolling all night saving the world as usual and was exhausted. but sleep wasn't on the slayers to-do list. a slayer's day consisted of slay, slay, slay. and nothing but. buffy sometimes wonder why the fate of the world was put into her hands and not some other poor innocent girl. buffy was into deep wonder on that question. at least until her phone started ringing which made her lose her train of thought. she picked up the phone.
buffy: " Hello?"
Giles: " Buffy, i hate to bother you but we have a..."
buffy quikly cut him off.
Buffy: " a scooby meeting. i know, and i'm on my way there."
Giles: " very well, then. i'll talk to you when you get here."
Buffy: " yeah."
she hangs up the phone and crawls out of bed.
after a brief hot shower and a chang of clothing buffy's ready to sit through another one of Gile's speeches. she heads out the door.
