A New Love: Caught in the Act

Note:I do not own any of these characters. They belong to Joss. The first and second chapters are based on the events in episodes 3.5 "Homecoming" and 3.8 "Lover's Walk" of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Willow Rosenberg was pounding on the door of the basement in Spike's factory. Spike, a vampire, along with his vampire girlfriend, Drusilla, tried to take over the world, but Spike had gotten cold feet, and helped her friend Buffy, who was the vampire slayer, stop Drusilla and her vampire lover, Angel. Angel usually had a soul, but after experiencing a moment of true happiness with Buffy, he lost it. Drusilla dumped Spike, so he returned to Sunnydale and kidnapped her and her best friend forever, Xander. "Mmm, Xander," Willow thought. "No!" she told herself. She had to stop thinking about him like that. She and Xander had been best friends since they were 4. Willow had a big crush on him for a long time. Then she met Oz. She started going out with Oz, burying her feelings for Xander deep inside of her. Then the fluke happened. They were in Willow's room trying on clothes for homecoming. She came out in a black dress and took one look at him. "Oh my god," she said to herself. "He is so handsome in that tux." Xander must have felt the same way about her outfit because he had said she looked gorgeous, something he never told her before. Then, she made the stupid mistake of telling him she couldn't dance, and letting him show her how. While they were dancing, she and Xander kept getting closer and closer to each other until they finally kissed. After a minute, they pulled apart, horrified at what they had done. They had tried so hard to keep the secret from Oz and Cordy, Xander's girlfriend, the same girl who had made their lives so miserable every day at school. After a while, she saw that Xander, who had been unconscious after a fight with Spike, had woken up. She went over to him. "Xander?" said a worried Willow. She sat on the bed. "Are you okay?" "I'm a little dizzy," he said. "Where are we?" She told him about Drusilla breaking up with him, and Spike kidnapping them. "When Spike becomes too sloppy, I'll make my move," Xander said. Xander attempted to stand up, but he fell back onto the bed, taking Willow with him. "As long as I don't have to stand up or move, we'll be fine." They leaned closer together. "We're not supposed to," Willow said. "Exemption for impending death situation," said Xander. Willow allowed herself to fall completely onto him as she pressed her lips against his. For a minute, it was perfect. That is until she heard a quiet voice say, "Oh God." She and Xander looked at the doorway to see Oz and Cordelia standing there.
