Part One

It's been six months since Angel went bad. Jenny Calendar is dead, Giles is hugely angry at Angel (who wouldn't be?) and Buffy is still kind of in shock about the whole ordeal. It's doubtful that she'll ever recover from his loss.

Buffy and the rest of the gang, excluding Cordelia, are at The Bronze, at their familiar table.

Buffy: I still have to go out and scope the terrain for the bad guys, and I haven't even changed out of my school clothes yet.

Willow: Why do you have to change clothes to go fight bad guys?

Buffy: There's this whole blood contingency thing...I don't want to ruin my new shirt. You dig?

Willow: Yeah, I dig. Ruining clothes is a bad thing,right?

Buffy: Um...yeah.

Xander: So, where's dead-boy? Think he's out terrorizing Cordelia?

Willow: We're not that lucky, Xander.

Buffy glares at him: There's this word called 'tact', look it up!

Buffy gets up and leaves.
