KN 532: KN 532
by DanceBug
I don't own any of the Buffy characters, I just want to borrow them for my story. Joss is the God that created Buffy The Vampire Slayer and all of the stuff related to it. The story line is mine, the names used in the story, not associated with Buffy, are names in my family and may NOT be used in any way other than the viewing of this story.
As the bus left Sunnydale there was only one thing running through her mind. It was something that no one but herself could understand. She kept repeating the same combination of letters and numbers over and over again in her mind. Finally, the bus reached Davesburg.
Once there she took a cab to the one place she knew she had to be. The one place that meant the world to her.
She paid the driver and ran. She ran passed the gray building, passed the fountain, and passed the rows of stone rectangles laying in the ground. She ran until she reached the small hill that she loved so dearly. She carefully made her way to a particular rectangle.
She stopped in front of it and then she fell to her knees, crying.
The stone read:
Gertrude C La Salle
December 16 1920 to August 7 1987
Loving Wife of
John La Salle
Buffy knelt there, sobbing for what seemed like hours. Then she spoke softly.
"Nanny......oh Nanny. What am I to do Nan? You knew everything.....even how to sew back on Mr. Gordo's eye when I accidentally ripped it off. Help me now. Where do I go? What do I do? Please help me." Buffy continued to sob, every few second she would mutter, "Nanny". Then she thought of one last thing to say. "Send me someone, someone like you. Someone who knows everything. Send me my guardian angel." She knelt there, as if waiting for a reply. When she got none she turned to leave. She stopped when she heard footsteps.
"Buffy!" a familiar voice cried out. Then a pair of warm, loving hands wrapped around her waist.
"I knew she was watching over me," she breathed just loud enough for only her to hear. They stood there, with his arms wrapped around her waist, them both facing the sunset. Then he looked down. There, on the corner of the stone were small gold letters and numbers marking the stone 'Kn 532'.
