Amara: Part 4
by Barbie Taylor
Romany Woods-1898 As Angelus ran through the woods, he had no idea of the fate that awaited him. However, as she waited just out of view for the fun to begin, Amara had every part of her former lover's torture worked out.
Although she couldn't hear her, the Gypsy woman knew that she was not the only person in the woods that night, performing the spell of restoration on a vampire that had ripped out too many hearts.
Somewhere in the distance another voice chanted.
It wasn't until the pair were half-way through their separate spells that their power came together. Their souls bonded in a ritual that would cause the beginning of a chain of events that would have results no one, in the woods that night, could ever have anticipated.
Te implor Doamne, nu ignora accasta rugaminte! Lasa orbita sa fie vasul car-i va transporta sufletul la el Their voices grew stronger...
Este scris, aceasta putere este dreptul poporuil meu de a conduce...
As they went on, Amara began to feel Angel's fear; his pain...
Asa sa fie! Acum! Acum! As the Gypsy saw her orb disappear into Angel's eyes, Amara saw hers explode, fragments of glass flying everywhere
Being there, she had made the curse that much more powerful and as she lay on the ground, weak from the power of the gods and of the Gypsy woman that had run through her, she couldn't help but ask herself, what had she done? Why had she wanted Angel to pay so dearly for what he had done to her? It was, after all, his nature; a nature she felt partly responsible for teaching him.
Not long after that night, Angel had set sail for the new world, America and Amara had followed him. She had also had Anastasia's body shipped with her
She still loved Angel very much and she decided that she would follow him and keep an eye on him; make sure he came across no harm.
After all, the only thing that would be more unbearable than having him evil...would be having him dead.
In the grave yard just on the outskirts of town two figures walked.
They were both incredibly lean but unimaginably strong. They were walking towards a tomb that appeared as though it had remained undisturbed for decades.
A rusty plaque on the wall read: "Let none forget the evil that lurks in the heart of man, and let no man awaken this unspeakable evil from its ever-lasting slumber".
"Too late." Came a female voice as she finished reading the inscription, watching as her lover began jimmying open the tomb door.
Once they were inside, the trouble-seeking pair lit the lanterns that they been carrying with them. The tomb seemed to fill with a sickly yellow light and as it filled every last corner, the woman found what she and her accomplice had come looking for.
The body of a young woman lay on an altar in the centre of the room.
She had been wearing a beautiful, last-century style silk gown at the time of her enclosure, but now the colour had faded and the silk was starting to wear thin.
The seemingly dead girl began to stir...and the couple knew that they would have to start their ritual right away.
