Wolfram & Hart- 2004 Angel's Office

"Angel...I talked to Giles and he is sending a book my way." Wesley said as he entered Angel's office.
"Good...is it coming by air...because we should monitor it then."
"No..it's coming by the way of Buffy." Angel looked up.
"Buffy is coming here?"
"Yes...It turns out there may be a slayer that needs their assistance."
"Oh...well Ok so when is she coming?"
"In two weeks."
Meanwhile standing outside the door.
"Two weeks...Oh my god. I have to tell spike." Fred said as she practically ran to the lab.

LA. 2004 Spike's Apartment

-Ring Ring-
Spike rolled over and grumbled. "Stupid bleeding phone waking me up at 12 sodding oclock in the afternoon." Spike said as he answered the phone.
"Ello...Oh hey there luv...No just catching some Z's...ok sure...I'll come down first thing after the sun sets...Ok bye." Spike said as he hung up the phone.
Then he rolled over to catch a few more z's.
-Ring Ring-
"What the bleeding hell?" Spike said as he angrily answered the phone.
"Ello."
"Are you Spike?" The voice on the other line said.
"Who the bloody hell wants to know?"
"Just tell me are you William the Bloody?"
Spike got quiet.
"How did you know that?"
"I know alot more than you think...meet me in the park outside of wolfram & hart...I have some business there with Angel so i might as well deal with you there too."
"Fine...who will I be looking for."
"A fist in your face." The caller said before they hung up.
"Bloody hell." Spike said as he got up and got dressed.

Rome 2004 Buffy and Dawn's apartment

-My number is 555-6569...Call me I really wanna...- The answering machine said as it clicked off. Dawn sat there stairing at the machine. 'He cant be.' Dawn thought to herself. 'He wouldnt be would he...I mean how?' She got up and walked into the kitchen.
"Giles." Giles turned around as Dawn said his name.
"Ah Dawn are you done packing?" He looked at her face. "Dawn is there something wrong you look pale."
Dawn looked at him and grabbed his hand and dragged him into the living room.
"Listen to this." She said as she punched the play button on the answering machine.
-You have one new message-
"Buffy...It's Spike..um..I dont know how long I can talk on this thing, but I'm alive...well sorta...I'm still a vamp..but i got my soul and all that...and I just...I wanted to call and see if you were ok...I know we didnt end on such a good note but I wanted you to know something...I believed you...and I love you Buffy...my number is 555-6569..Call me I really wanna..."
-End of message-
Giles looked at Dawn. "We have to tell Buffy."
"Yea I know but we cant. Remember you told her that there would be no outside communication when she got there. That we couldnt risk the enemies find the girls training."
Giles took his glasses off and cleaned them.
"I know...Dawn I have a bit of a confession." Dawn looked at him.
"What?"
"I've known for about 3 months that Spike was alive...and he's in L.A. When Andrew was there he saw Spike and gave Spike your number and well we waited but he never called until now." Dawn looked at him.
"So that's why you're sending Buffy to L.A and not andrew...so she can see Spike...AND YOU NEVER TOLD US...Giles do you realize how badly she is going to hurt you when she sees him?"
"I know."
"God...I hope Buffy can withstand a heart attack because that's probably what's going to happen when she sees him."

Wolfram & Hart 2004 Fred's Lab

"Hey there ducks." Fred turned around and took her goggles off.
"Spike what are you doing here...It's only 2." Spike laughed.
"I feel loved...No I got a phone call and couldnt go back to sleep. So what is it that you wanted to tell me?" He said as he sat on a stool.
"I wanted to tell you that I was evesdropping on Angel and Wesley earlier and I found out that..."
Suddenly Angel came in.
"Fred I need to talk to you...Oh hello Spike. Anything we can help you with?" Spike looked at Fred.
"No Peaches I'm fine. Just wanted to say hi to Fred that's all. And well I also need to talk to you." Spike said as he hopped off the stool.
"Ok well in a second. Fred." Angel said as he led Fred to her office. Once they were inside her closed the door.
"Ok this about two things. One is Spike permanent?"
"Well yes...I mean if you are talking about him being a Ghost again or not...No he is totally 100% Vampire again."
"Ok...And I will be having a visitor later tonight. She's sorta different. But I need you to not be here and well actually I need everyone to not be here."
"Ok so I send the staff home and I go home myself. Sounds cool...but who is this person?"
"I'll explain later." Angel said as he left the office. "Ok Spike lets..." Angel said as he looked around and realized that Spike was gone.
