Glass: Buffy's Death

The impact hit Buffy with a strong sense of comfort. She thought there would be pain, but if this was pain, it was a peaceful sort. She could still see the Earth, she could see Spike lying on the ground his face in his hands, she could see Tara and Willow crying on eachother's shoulders, she could see Dawn staring into space and Giles shaking. Buffy couldn't believe that this was happening. For some reason or another, it seemed as if she was still alive. Still breathing. But she couldn't be alive, could she? It didn't seem possible. Death seemed the only possible way now. But non of that mattered. She had saved the world another time, hadn't she? All that mattered was that her friends were safe and-
The comforting sensation was now gone and there was a blast of light so bright that it hurt Buffy's eyes. She closed them wincing. Where was she? It didn't make sense. She couldn't be in Hell again, could she? She knew what Hell was like, she'd been there before, this didn't seem like hell. Maybe she was in another dimention. She remembered Giles talking about how that sort of thing could happen, well this was the portal for it wasn't it? All of a sudden things stopped spinning and Buffy could feel her heart beating once again, and the pain of the light wasn't as intense as it was before. She took a deep breath and took a step forward, the light was clearing and she could finally see where she was. She gasped, it was beautiful. All shimmering, the whole city, made of glass and crystal. Of course there were cars but they flew in the sky. There were only sidewalks, no rodes. People were rollerblading, walking, skateboarding, skootering or riding their bikes. Buffy smiles. Heaven didn't seem that bad. If this was infact, Heaven...
