Plan Z: Plan Z

The mayor was writhing on the graduation platform. "Owww! It has begun. My destiny. It's a little sooner than I expected. I had this whole section on civic pride, but I guess we'll just skip to the big finish!"

To the amazement of all but a few of the audience, the mayor began to transform into a giant snake.

"Attack," yelled Xander. That was the signal. Oz manned the catapult. It was his right. After all they were using his plan.

The hummos hit the snake right in its mouth. The snake reared up, only to be hit by another load of the yellowish chickpea mash.

"Oh, gosh," the snake tried to say. It couldn't. Instead it choked and fell dead.

"Good show, everybody." Giles congratulated the team.

"It was Oz's plan," Willow beamed.

"Yes, but Willow was the one who did the research and found that the mayor would become a type of snake that couldn't digest vegetable matter." Oz's love for Willow showed in his voice.

"Well, it was certainly less destructive than my idea," Buffy said.

"You're entirely too fond of trying to destroy the school," Giles scolded her. "It is always best to try, um, less extreme measures."

"Whatever," Buffy said. "So now we move on to college?" The graduates all left.

"I can't wait to see what she'll think of doing to the poor college," Giles said as he surveyed the intact school building. It had survived. Not just the ascension, it had survived Buffy, the High School Student.
