To Kill the Light: To Kill the Light

Okay, there was this line in Innocence, were Angelus tells Spike that Buffy made him feel human. This is my take on what he ment.

I don't own Angel, or his thoughts (If I did you can be sure I wouldn't be spending by time writing poetry). The god known as Joss and a lot of other people who I'll never met own him.;-)

I told the truth.
She made me feel human.
I felt human!
Me, the evil demon.
I stopped fighting him,
my nemesis,
my soul,
my savior.
I stopped fighting the light that made her smile.
But then,
he left.
His actions no longer ruled our body.
The light was gone.
She doesn't love me
She hates me,
Everyone hates me.
I cried her name and wept.
Blessed rage invaded whre love once was.
No humanity- that's what he said,
and the light began to die.
Now I'd do any thing to kill the light,
To stop her smile,
To kill her love,
To kill Angel.
Till the light is gone, I will push.
Push, and maybe I can rest.
Maybe his voice will leave my head,
Maybe the light will die.
Maybe, just maybe,
She'll kill me.
