"I love it here." Wilow sighed happily as she leaned back against her boyfriend, Oz. "It's so peaceful, and we can be alone."
"I know you love it here." Oz whispered in her ear, then he kissed her lightly on the cheek.
Willow smiled and turned her head towards him. After sharing a few tender kisses, they pulled apart and went back to cuddling on the blanket.
"Sunnydale looks so quite from up here. No vampires, no demons. Speaking of vampires, did you bring the crosses and holy water?" Willow asked as she looked up at Oz, who smiled and nodded as he patted the small duffel bag he had beside him.
Willow relaxed and continued to look down on the little town from their spot in the hill. The combination of the soft music coming from Oz's radio and Oz stroking her hair was making her tired.
Oz glanced at Willow's peaceful face and sighed. "We really should go now. It's late and your father is still mad at me from bringing you home a little late last week."
Willow frowned a little, but got up. Her eyes locked with Oz's, and the eye contact never broke as they packed up their picnic dinner. The night had been wonderful and neither of them wanted it to end. They held hands as they brought everything back to Oz's van. They let go only after Oz helped Willow into the passenger's seat and closed the door for her.
After a short make out session in Willow's driveway, Oz promised to meet her outside the school ten minutes before the first bell rang. They shared one more final kiss before Willow closed the van's door and Oz drove away. Hugging herself, Willow skipped to her front door. Thoughts of Oz dominated her mind as she decided she was 110% over Xander

Why can't I stop thinking of Willow? Xander thought as he continued kissing Cordelia. He wasn't sure how long they had been going at it, but he was sure they had broken their previous record of 5 minutes without a fight. He was startled when Cordelia pulled away.
"Where is your brain today?" she asked. "I know it's not here making out with me, or else it would have noticed that you bit down on my lip!"
Xander had been so busy thinking of Willow that he hadn't noticed the faint taste of blood in his mouth. He looked sheepishly at Cordelia, who had a mixed expression of anger and hurt in her eyes.
"I was.....ahhhhh.......I'm sorry." Xander mumbled. "I was just..."
"Thinking about Buffy? Willow? What a surprise! Why do I even bother with you?" Cordelia let out a small, frustrated shrik and opened the closet door. She looked back at Xander for a second and thought, for a brief second, about running back, like she usually did. His face was different this time. He hadn't even noticed she had left his side. Not sure if she should yell or cry, Cordelia turned off the light and slamed the door, leaving Xander in the dark.
- I've got to tell her. She has to know how I feel before she gets too involved with Oz. - Xander told himself as he stumbled in the dark to find the door. As he opened it, he wondered what had happened to the lights and where Cordelia had gone.

Meanwhile, Buffy and Willow were sitting in the library. Giles had gone to a staff meeting, so the girls had the place all to themselves.
"So, what'd you and Oz do after school yesterday? You two looked so cute that I wanted to take a picture. It was a total Kodak moment." Buffy told her redheaded friend, whose cheeks were turning the same colour as her hair at the mention of Oz's name.
"Stuff" was all Willow could say.
"I want details! You can't keep me in the dark about this!"
"Well, we had a night picnic at Lovers Lane. Well, not at Lovers Lane itself, but on the top of that hill by it. Anyways, we ate, we cuddled, we....." Willow stoped herself.
"Come on. I think I know what you're talking about, but it's been so long since I've been there myself, I could use a reminder."
"Alright! We kissed. We made out. We acted like normal teenagers. Happy?"
By now, Willow had turned redder than her hair. She knew Buffy had been there before, but it was all new to her and still embarressing.
"A night picnic? How romantic, but it might not have been a good idea. What if vamps had come?" Buffy asked her.
"Don't worry. Oz brought protection. Do you think I would do something like that without any?"
"No, of course not. You know better. That was very responsible of Oz. Think you're going to do it again?"
"Well, actually, as soon as possible. It was really nice, and fun! We were hoping tonight would be good"
"Go for it. I'll protrol Lover's Lane tonight to make sure you aren't disturbed."

Xander had started to enter the library when he heard Buffy and Willow talking. He hadn't meant to easedrop, but once he started listening, he couldn't stop.
"Don't worry. Oz brought protection. Do you think I would so something like that without any?"
- What?!? Was that Willow that was talking? No, it can't be! -
"No, of course not. You know better. That was very responsible of Oz. Think you're going to do it again?"
- I'm not hearing this! Willow and Oz.....using protection.....NO! -
"Well, actually, as soon as possible. It was really nice, and fun! We were hoping tonight would be good"
"Go for it. I'll protrol Lover's Lane tonight to make sure you aren't disturbed." Xander couldn't bear to hear anymore. HIS Willow and the wolfboy? Sleeping together? He couldn't believe it, but he had heard it straight from Willow herself. - Oz! - He probably pressured her into it! Making her feel special when he's really only using her! - I'll make him pay! -
