Dreaming: Dreaming

Teaser: Set the summer after "Becoming", the title says it pretty simply. Not necessarily GOOD dreams though...

While I'm dreaming,
it all goes away.
All the pain,
the guilt,
the anger,
the sadness.
While I dream,
you are there.
Strong and silent,
just holding me,
loving me.
Then the dream changes,
becoming a nightmare.
And again I replay that horrible morning.
I watch as you are returned to me,
and we kiss,
and I tell you I love you and to close your eyes,
and I run you through.
I hear you whisper my name
and see you disappear into the vortex.
And I can almost hear my world shatter.
I wake up from my nightmare,
and find myself in one that is even worse.
One where you are gone,
and I am far, far away from home.
And as I break down all I can do is pray,
that I am still dreaming.
But I'm not.
