Forgotten Slayers: Prologue

Joss and co. own premise of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.The brilliant mind of Joss came up with Jenny Calender, I am merly filling in my opinion of her past, her family, and her connection to the world of vampires and slayers.

*I started writing this at like 12:30AM, and finaly finished an hour later. So please excuse any inconsistencies.*

Prologue

Thirteen year old Jenny stood at her bedroom window and waved to her twin sister as she went out on another night of vampire slaying.

As she readyed for bed the the lecture that the two of them had gotten from Kirsten's watcher ran through her mind yet again.

"It has never been recorded of a slayer having a twin. Therfore I intend to train you both as slayers"

As Jenny had opened her mouth to protest he continued;

"However, I will be more lenient towards Jenifer"

Her recollection of the lecture faded as she remembered her uncle Enyos's reaction to the fact that this would take away from her time being trained as his little 'Hellmouth Spy'. The face he had made was priceless.

Sometimes when Kirsten wasn't feeling well, Jenny would hunt in her place. Sometimes they would go together.

But tonight Jenny was tired. Which would explain why she was pulling nice, warm blankets up to her chin. After a yawn, she was fast asleep.

A few hours later Jenny was tossing with a nightmare that was all to real.

Kirsten was struggling.

'This vamp is *much* stonger than I thought'

She landed flat on her back from a kick to the gut.

'How the hell am I going to beat this guy??'

She let out a gasp that was a cross between choking an a sob, when the vamp grabbed her neck.

Laying in her bed Jenny gasped and whimpered as her sister was caught.

Kirs tried to scream as the vampire lowered his fangs to her neck, but found he was holding her neck to tight. Instead she squeased her eyes shut as the tears began to flow.

she gasped in pain as the vampire's fangs pierced her flesh. But because of his hold it came out as more of a strangled cry.

She was hit with the realization that she was going to die. 'I'm only 13. Please don't let me die'.

Jenny whimpered as the vamp lowered its fangs to her sister's neck.

It seemed like an eternity until they pierced flesh, but when they did Jenny sat bolt upright and screamed bloody murder.

Kirsten could no longer hold off the darkness. As it engulfed her, and as the vampire drained the last of her life, she became aware of someone screaming. As the sound became mearly a distant buzz, she realized it was Jenny.

Then there was nothing.
