I have nothing so it's not worth even thinking about suing me. This is just an idea using your character, Joss. Sorry to insult you if I use them badly. Sorry for making Buffy so cynical. Don't worry , it'll play out. Um, I forget what happened to Acathla, but pretend it's still at the mansion. Oh, and this is kinda like What Dreams May Come, which also doesn't belong to me. Just read.

Part Four

When I get there, Ms. Calender is sitting in the garden. She stands up and greets me. "Buffy! Did you find it?" I nod and give her the book. "Yeah, here it is. So what do we do?" I ask. She leafs through it and answers, "Well, you'll have to travel to the underworld and defeat Angelus. That's it really." I stand in shock, "Defeat Angelus? But won't I be killing Angel too?" She shakes her head, "No, it may look like his body, but think of it as an evil twin. It's just the demon, wearing Angel's face. I assure you that when you kill him, you won't be harming Angel at all." I nod and then ask, "And that's it? Damn, lead me to the gates of Hell then!" She looks up from the book and shakes her head. "No, first you must fight your way to the gates. There will be many demons down there, trying to keep you away. When you finally get to Angelus, you will probably be very tired and weak. But that's where I come in. I will be down there and cast a spell over you so you'll be revitalized." "But how will you get in?" I ask. "It's like all-for-one at the gates. I can cast a spell to get me in there without harm, but my spells cannot help you. Don't worry, though. Once you're in, we can work together." I nod, and we plan to go the next day.

I wake up to see Ms. Calendar casting a spell over Acathla. I get up and go over to her. "Buffy! Are you ready?" she asks. "Yeah, let's go," I reply. She finishes the spell and Acathla opens once again, bringing back memories of last year. I stand strong, trying not to think about it. The room goes black and I feel like I'm falling. Then I pass out. When I wake up, Ms. Calendar is gone. Guess she already cast her spell and got in. I stand up and look around me. I'm standing on a road, which is hardly paved and cracked. Bare, twisted trees surround the road on either side. It reeks of death, probably because of the bodies strewn across the road. And just not human bodies, strange demon bodies. I never saw anything so grotesque and depressing. At the sound of moans and cries, I turn around and start walking toward them. As I'm walking along the road, someone steps in front of me. "Pike?" I cry out. What is he doing here? "Buffy? Ohmigod!" he grabs me in a hug. Then I realize it's not Pike. I kick my knee up to his groin. He stumbles back and his face contorts into a vampire visage. He jumps me, bringing both of us to the ground. I kick him off of me and run over to a tree. He chases me and slams me into it. He goes down to bite me, but I push away. He stumbles and I get my chance to tear off a tree branch. I turn around while he's still dazed and I stake him. Poof. One demon down, God knows how many more to go.

I continue down the road and suddenly I'm knocked to the ground. I flip whatever is on me off and jump up. I turn around and end up face to face with Mr. Trick. "Faith killed you. Stay dead already!" I tell him as I lash out my leg into his stomach. He holds his ground, however, grabs my foot and flips me backwards. I do a full back flip and end up on the ground again. As I struggle to get up he stands over me, laughing. He grabs me by my hair and pulls me up to him. His face changes, but before he can bite me, I grab the tree branch from my sleeve and plunge it into his chest. He drops me and stumbles back a bit. I get up, expecting him to turn to dust. He laughs, pulls out the stake, and says, "Tsk, tsk, Slayer, you think that's really gonna work?" I gasp at the sight and turn on my heel to run. He chases me after me. Then I see a body with a sword in it's stomach. I go over to it and yank the sword out. I turn and swing my sword at Tricks' head to decapitate him. Thankfully, it works. I continue running down the road, searching for the gates. Some demons try to fight me, but they only meet the nice pointy end of my sword. Finally, I reach the gates and push them open.
