what I'll do. When I hear you're in danger
I come to your aid, knowing you're worth more than I could ever dream to do.

When I see the looks you give to him, it makes me mad that that's what you want in a "man".
I know I see something you don't allow yourself to see; that this relationship you strive for can never be. So I stand in the background, however impatiently, hoping and praying that you will see me.
