BUFFY: I-I don't understand, this is where they were last time

ANGEL: I guess they were smart enough to figure they should find a new home

BUFFY: Yeah well I, wait, do you here that? (chanting in the background) Guess they're not as smart as they.... don't seem but..

ANGEL: Here ANGEL hands her a stake ANGEL: I carry it around, in case

BUFFY finds the priests further down underground, and sneaks up on them, one by one she kills them.

BUFFY and ANGEL return to the Library adn discover everything back to normal.

BUFFY: Guys? You're not viciously attacking each other?

XANDER: No, did I forget to mention, we only do that on New Year's.

BUFFY: You guys don't remember anything do you?

WILLOW: About what?

ANGEL: Guess they don't

BUFFY: uh, about that, thing, you, know, it's not important anymore.

ANGEL: Looks like we saved the day slayer, I'll be heading home now, before the sun gets up

BUFFY: You have like, lots-a hours.

ANGEL: Yeah well I might walk really slow

BUFFY: I'll walk you out, (walking) You know it's funny how you and I were the only ones not worked on by the first.

ANGEL: Yeah

BUFFY: I guess it figured I was sorta withdrawn anyways

ANGEL: Why's that

BUFFY: because of what you told me, you know about you not um, having feelings for me anymore.

ANGEL: WHAT?

BUFFY: but I'm getting over it, ya know, you've moved on, it's a good thing

ANGEL: ..and when did I say this?

BUFFY: earlier today, when i came over to the mansion

ANGEL: Buffy, I think we WERE worked on by the first

BUFFY: What do ya mean?

ANGEL: I never saw you this morning, I guess the first pretended to be me.

BUFFY: No way! it can only mimick people that are....

ANGEL: DEAD?

BUFFY: yeah. I, um, well I'm ashamed to admit I'm relieved

ANGEL: OK, well, I'm going to go, um, hope you sleep a little lighter knowing, well ya know.

BUFFY: I'll admit again I will
