Hormone Boy: Part 2

by Queena

At lunch Willow sat with Buffy and Amy. Xander had been taking his lunches with Cordelia because he knew that Willow wanted space from him. “So how are your problems with Oz?” Amy asked. “Has he been showing any more interest lately?”

Willow nodded slowly. “To say the least,” she told her friends.

“What do you mean?” Buffy asked, already jumping to her friends defense.

“I don’t know. He’s actually been pretty aggressive. Especially for him,” Willow confided. Buffy nodded to herself. She thought this might happen.

“How aggressive?” Amy asked excitedly. A little too excited, Buffy thought to herself.

“Well, no more then normal boys, I guess. But that’s still weird for Oz. He’s not like other boys,” Willow said a little sadly. “Now I know what was meant when it was said that you should be careful what you wish for. That was one of the things that was special about Oz. He wasn’t rushing me.”

“Damn,” Amy said to herself. Willow didn’t hear this little proclamation, but Buffy did and she wondered what was behind it.

At the end of the day Willow sat in the library with Buffy, Giles, Cordelia, and Xander. They had just found out about a demon who lived in mirrors and they were looking up ways to stop it. Oz came in ready to take Willow home. “I still have some stuff to wrap up. Can you wait a few minutes?” Willow asked.

Oz looked over at Xander hatefully not trying to hide his feelings to other boy. Willow didn’t seem to notice this, but Xander and Buffy both noticed it. “I’ll just wait outside,” Oz told Willow and left.

After Oz left Xander went over to Buffy and asked, “Did you see that?” He kept his voice low so that nobody would hear him.

“Yeah, I saw it,” Buffy said and thought to herself. “He’s been acting really strange lately. Maybe we should tell Willow that we’re going to pull an all-nighter so that she’ll stay here with us.” Xander nodded in approval.

“Hey Will, it looks like we’re going to be here all night and we could really use you. Do you think you could put off going home?” Buffy asked.

She hesitated for a minute, but agreed. “Just let me go and tell Oz,” Willow said and left.

When she left the library she looked down the hall and Oz was leaning against the wall by the utility closet. She walked down the hall and he pushed himself away from the wall expectantly. “Ready to go,” he asked.

“Um, actually I guess we’re going to be here pretty late,” she told him. He looked disappointed, but didn’t say anything. He just moved closer so that he could kiss her gently. The kiss grew harder and more fervent. Willow tried to pull away, but Oz held to the back of her neck. She turned her face away from his, “Oz, I really have to go back now.”
He didn’t let go of her, but he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her tightly against him.

“Oz!” Willow said in exasperation and tried to pull away from him, but he didn’t give way.

“Come on, Willow. I think I’ve been pretty patient. It’s about time to drop the schoolgirl act,” he said angrily. He reached over and opened the door to the utility closet with one hand and held on to Willow with the other arm. She tried, futily, to get away from him, but he pulled her into the closet and shut the door.

Once they were in the closet he pushed her against the wall and pinned her arms. His hard kisses were starting to hurt Willow’s lips. She kept trying to push him away, but he was to strong. “Knock it off, you little tease,” he said through gritted teeth.

Back in the library Buffy looked at the clock and wondered what was taking Willow so long. She might just be talking to him, but something about the way Oz had been acting worried her. She motioned to Xander to come over to where she was sitting.

“Go and see what’s taking Willow so long,” Buffy told him. He nodded and left the library. Maybe she was over-reacting, but she figured better safe then sorry.

When he left the library Xander looked down both ends of the hall. No Willow or Oz. Then he saw something down the right end of the hall. He walked toward it, but could tell that it was Oz’s bookbag before he got close enough. That’s when he heard loud voices coming from the utility closet.

Xander opened the door and was faced with what looked like Oz mauling Willow. Poor, defenseless, little Willow. He didn’t have to think twice before he pulled Oz away from her and threw him out of the closet. He looked at Willow to make sure he hadn’t just busted up some make out session, but he saw fresh tears on her face.

The tears pissed him off even more and he charged out of the closet bent on causing serious harm to Oz, but when he left the small room Oz tackled Xander against the wall of the hallway. The hit had knocked the wind out of Xander and gave Oz time to pop Xander in the lip. He tried to shake the pain off, but Oz delivered another hard jab to his cheek.

Frustrated and angry Xander just started swinging and was lucky enough to catch Oz. He readied himself to sock Oz again, but there was no need. Oz’s legs were kicked out from under him. It was Buffy who had gotten him from behind. She planted her foot down Oz’s small chest.

“What the Hell is wrong with you?!” Buffy yelled down at him.
He looked scared, but he yelled back, “Get off of me you crazy bitch!” Of course, he shouldn’t have said that because that only made Buffy more angry. She took his head in her hands and slammed it down against the hard floor.

Xander went back into the closet after Buffy knocked Oz out and put a comforting arm shoulder around Willow’s shoulder, who was still crying. “I don’t know what happened to him. He was all over me and he wouldn’t back off. It’s just totally not like him,” Willow cried.

Xander stroked her hair as he held her. “Maybe you didn’t know him as well you thought,” he told her. After Xander led Willow out of the closet he noticed that Buffy, Oz and his backpack had disappeared. He figured that Buffy was trying to dispose of Oz before he came out with Willow so that she wouldn’t have to see him.

Buffy opened the back of Oz’s van and dumped him in there along with his backpack. She was already starting to feel pretty bad about knocking him, but after what happened with Willow and him calling her a bitch she just saw red for a minute.

The thing that really bugged Buffy was that the way Oz had been acting was so unlike him. Maybe they hadn’t really known Oz as well as they had thought. Then again, maybe something had happened to Oz to make him act that way.

The next day at school Buffy and Xander walked Willow to her first class, just in case Oz showed up so that he wouldn’t bother her. When they had gone back to the library the day before none of them mentioned anything to Giles or Cordelia, but they both sensed something was wrong.

After they dropped Willow at her class Buffy turned to Xander and told him, “I want one of us with her at all times today. I don’t know if Oz will be stupid enough to try and talk to her, but if he is I don’t want him to get close to her.” Xander nodded in agreement and told Buffy that he would pick her up from her class.

After first period Buffy headed to the library to talk to Giles and was stopped in the hall by Cordelia. “Buffy, I know this is going to sound pretty weird and you may not believe me, but I figure I should tell somebody. I think Willows boyfriend just hit on me. We were partnered up in our last class and we were talking. He said something about my hair smelling good and then he put his hand on my thigh.”

Buffy nodded, “It was a good thing that you didn’t tell Willow. Listen, Oz has been acting really weird. To tell you the truth he’s undergone a complete personality change. I think it’s best that we all stay away from him until we figure out what happened to him.”

“No problem. Is that why you were acting so different when you came back in the library the yesterday?” Cordelia asked. Buffy nodded sadly.

Buffy headed to the library during lunch. She had told Xander to take Willow there so that they wouldn’t chance Willow seeing Oz in the cafeteria. Amy stopped her on the way there. “Buffy, is Willow okay? She seemed so distant in class today,” Amy told her.

“She’s okay. Oz and her have been having some problems lately,” Buffy said. Amy looked away guiltily hoping it wasn’t what she thought it was. Buffy caught the look and remembered the time in the cafeteria before. “ Do you know something, Amy?” Buffy asked the other girl.

Amy looked at her feet and nodded. She explained the whole spell to Buffy. “You better hope there’s a way reverse the spell,” Buffy told her angrily.

“I’ll handle it. I promise,” Amy said and walked away.

Amy finally found Oz sitting outside on a stone bench playing his guitar. She went over and sat down next to him and faked a smile. “That was really nice, what you were playing,” Amy told Oz in a way to start up a conversation.

“Thanks,” Oz said and smiled back at her.

“I heard that you and Willow broke up. I’ve been waiting for that to happen,” Amy lied.

“Why?” Oz asked defensively.

“Because I thought that maybe now that you weren’t with her that maybe I would have a chance with you,” Amy said. She needed to find a way to get Oz over to her house so that she could reverse the spell.

Oz smiled at her. “Well, that’s not to farfetched,” he told her.

“Look, do you want to get out of here?” Amy asked and gave him the most seductive smile she could muster up.

Amy turned to Oz and smiled at him as she unlocked her front door. He followed her into her house and up the stairs to her bedroom.
He sat down on her bed and looked around her room. Amy stepped up close to him and he ran his hand up her leg. “Take your shirt off,” she said to him.

For the spell to work the had to have a piece of his clothing, a lock of his hair and something dear to him. He took off his flannel shirt first then the black T-shirt under it. “Now your pants,” she told him. He unbuttoned his black jeans and slipped out of them.

There he was, sitting only in his boxer shorts and Amy had to stifle a laugh. She gathered up his clothes and he gave her weird look, but didn’t say anything. She went over to her closet and opened it. Her cauldron was set up on a milk crate with a board surrounded by candles and some spices and potions. She stuffed his small, black T-shirt into the cauldron.

“What are you doing?” Oz asked.

She turned and smiled, “Just trying to find something more comfortable to slip into.” He smiled back and laid back on her bed. She turned her back on him and began to rifle through his pants pockets. She found some loose change, a guitar pick, and his wallet. In his wallet there was some money, his drivers license and some pictures. She flipped through the pictures and found the one she thought she would need. It was a picture of him with Willow sitting on his lap. She threw the photo in the cauldron and grabbed a silky nightgown and a pair of scissors.

She turned and held the short nightgown up for him to see. “Cute,” he said. She went to the bed and crawled up on it so that she was on her hands and knees over him. He moved his hands up her thighs so that he could clutch her behind.

“I’ve always thought you were one of the most sexy guys at Sunnydale,” Amy told him. It wasn’t exactly untrue. Amy had never liked conventionally cute guys. Of course, she was completely devoted to her boyfriend and was only doing this to make up for what she had started with her stupid spell.

Oz lifted his head to kiss her lips as she ran her fingers through his hair and then snipped off a small piece with the scissors she had kept concealed in her hand. She pulled away from him and moved off of him slowly with the scissors and hair clutched in one hand and the nightgown clutched in the other. She walked sexily over to the walk-in closet, went in and shut the door behind her.

She fell to her knees before her cauldron and began to work her magic. She threw in a dash of the hormone spell, lit some incense, and started to recite the reversing incantation. “Amy, hurry it up,” she heard Oz shout through the door. She recited faster and faster. The same incantation, over and over again.

When she was done, she rose to her feet and poked her head out the door. There was Oz, standing by her vanity table with her big white pillow clutched to his chest. She smiled at the comical sight. He smiled back nervously. “Do you know what happened to my clothes. I can’t seem to remember,” Oz asked and laughed nervously.

The whole thing was to good to pass up. “You’re not going to leave now. We were just getting started,” Amy said teasingly and moved toward him. Thinking she was serious Oz jumped up on her bed and ran across it to put the bed between her and him. She crawled onto the bed like a cat and he backed up against the door.

“Ha! Amy,” Oz said and clutched the pillow closer to his chest. “I didn’t like turn into a werewolf, by any chance, did I?”

She gave him a weird look, before getting up to get his clothes for him. He jumped back with his back pressed against her bedroom. She laughed and went over to the closet and threw his clothes over to him. “Listen, do you remember anything bad happening in the past couple of days?” Amy asked as he pulled his pants back on.

He stopped for a minute and looked like he trying hard to concentrate. “I remember being with Willow and her getting mad at me. I felt bad for doing something to her. And I vaguely remember getting into a fight with Xander,” he said.

“I need to tell you something. It might kind of shock you,” Amy said and sat down on her bed. She patted the bed next to her. “You might want to sit down for a minute.” He looked at her suspiciously before finally deciding to it was safe to sit next to her.

Amy told him about the spell she had cast on him and the only occurrences she knew about. After Amy finished telling him of what happened Oz was surprisingly calm. “Huh,” he said lamely.

“Is that all you’re going to say?” Amy asked angrily.

“What do you expect me to say?” Oz asked with little emotion.

Amy shook her head in amazement. “Aren’t you mad?” she asked.

“No. I should be, but I realize that you were only trying to help,” Oz said. “But I think I need to go and talk to Willow about this. I just hope that she’s as forgiving as I am.”

Oz left Amy’s and headed over to Willow’s house. On the way over there he tried to think of a way to explain what had happened. All he could hope was that she would either believe him or had already heard about what happened.

He was still trying to figure out what he was going to say when he knocked on Willow’s door five minutes later. Xander was the one who opened the door. Oz started to ask if he could talk to Willow, but he didn’t get a chance to finish his sentence before Xander delivered a strong punch that sent Oz to the ground. He landed on his behind and rubbed his jaw where he had been hit. “Ow,” he said in his characteristic way of under-reacting.

The sound of the scene brought Willow and Buffy running to the door to see what the commotion. Xander went to grab Oz by his collar and pull him to his feet. Xander was just about to sock Oz again when Buffy grabbed him by his shirt and pull him away from Oz. Oz straightened his flannel which was now bunched around his neck.

“Did Amy fix you or what?” Buffy asked, but kept the menace in her voice just in case she hadn’t.

“Yeah, I think so,” Oz responded.

“You think so or she did?” she asked.

Oz shrugged, “I don’t know. She did something.” He moved over so that he could address Willow. “Willow, I don’t know exactly what I did, but whatever it was, I’m really sorry.”

“Oh, bullshit!” Xander yelled and lunged for Oz. Buffy tried to step between them, but got knocked out of the way. Xander tackled Oz to the ground and wrapped his hands around the smaller boys neck. Oz choked for a moment before rolling over so that Xander was under him. Xander didn’t relinquish his grip though. Oz grabbed Xander’s hands and pulled them from around his neck and pinned them to the ground. He shifted his weight so that he could position himself with his knee on Xander’s chest. “Xander, I don’t want to fight you,” Oz said calmly.

Buffy wrapped her arms under Oz’s and pulled him off of Xander. Oz straightened up, but as soon as Xander was up he went after Oz again. He didn’t get very close though because Buffy slammed him in his chest. Xander fell to the ground and fought to catch the breath that had been knocked out of him.

“Willow,” Buffy turned and said. “Amy put a spell on Oz to make him a little more aggressive. Unfortunately, it backfired and made him a little too aggressive.”

Willow turned and looked at Oz. “It’s true, baby. You know I would never do anything to hurt you otherwise,” Oz told her. A tear of happiness escaped Willow’s eye and she threw herself into Oz’s arms, nearly knocking him over. She kissed him passionately, happy to have her boyfriend back.

Xander got to his feet and limped toward Buffy. He pointed at Buffy first then Oz, who wasn’t paying any attention because he was still kissing Willow. “You guys may be able to best me now, But I’m drinking milk and one day I’m going to kick both of your asses,” Xander said and limped back into Willow’s house.

Buffy followed him in, but before she closed the door she said, “ I wonder if that spell could work on a vampire.”

And they all lived happily ever after.

The End
