Worst Mistake: Buffy deals

Buffy woke up finding herself very disoriented. When she came around enough to open her eyes she could barely stand the light pouring in through the window. She was sore and hungover. The events of last night came rushing back and caused her to sit down on the bed. She stared into thin air with no regard for time. She realized that it was morning and she needed to get home so Dawn wouldn't worry.

Buffy decided against using the front door or the back door so she not so easily scaled the tree outside her window and climbed through the opening. Gladly there was no one around so she was able to grab a change of clothes and get to the bathroom without anyone seeing her disheveled appearance.

She ran a bath for herself and climbed into the pleasurably warm water. She let herself soak. When she picked up the lufa she scrubbed her skin till it was raw red. She felt dirty and used. When she saw the water begin to have a pink tint from her blood she got out of the tub. She finally built up the courage to look at her reflection in the mirror and was assaulted by her black eye and cut cheek from the metal chain linked fence. She cleaned the gash with peroxide and ran cold water over a wash cloth to place over her slightly swollen eye.

When she was finished in the bathroom she went down the stairs and into the kitchen. Her nose was filled with the disgusting smell of burnt pancakes. Willow was trying to cook Dawn pancakes just like Tara used too, but it was't working out to well. When Willow caught sight of Buffy's injured face she panicked.

Buffy played it off as an injury sustained during last nights slaying. Willow accepted the answer and turned backt o the stove top. An awkward silence fell over the three women so Buffy decided to go back upstairs. This may have been a mistake because it left Buffy alone and the memories of the rape rushed back into her mind. She sat down in the corner banging her head ever so slightly against the door falling into a catatonic state.

It was hours before Willow or Dawn realized
