Cordelia: three
by Siannaxz
I had been taken to a room in the hotel, there wasn’t much in there but it was okay. Cordelia had stayed downstairs, she didn’t like me much so it was understandable. She must be really bored, she can only really speak to me.
I considered going down and keeping Cordelia company but then I decided against it because it could be interpreted as nice, when all I was doing was giving myself something to do.
In the end I went downstairs, I was dead bored in my room. They probably would tell me to go away but I could at least try to help them.
When I got there Fred and Gunn were sitting at a table going through books, I guessed they were trying to find out about higher beings and ghosts. Cordelia was looking over Fred’s shoulder, she was no doubt reading as well.
I walked over, sat down and picked up a book, it was about spirits. I opened it and started reading. It was particularly boring, I kept on reading anyway, I came here to help.
Fred slammed the book she was reading shut. She still hadn’t acknowledged the fact that I was here. She got up and walked over to the desk. She picked up the phone and dialled a number. I couldn’t hear what she was saying but from the look in her eyes I could tell she was desperate.
She walked over to the table and sat down.
“Who were you talking to?” I asked. She looked at me and frowned, she had probably only just noticed I was here.
“Someone from Sunnydale” Was her reply
“Would this person have a name?”
“She’s a wicca, her name’s Willow” I was surprised, calling a witch to help was pretty serious.
“Oh, Willow’s coming” said Cordelia. She didn’t sound very exited.
I gave her a questioning look, or at least what I hoped was one.
“I went to school with Willow, she stole my boyfriend” was her reply, it was rather casual so I assumed that she hadn’t really cared about the guy stealing bit.
“Oh” I said. I realized I must sound crazy, talking to people who might or might not be there. Fred and Gunn were giving me funny looks again so I went back to reading.

We had been reading books for about four hours and Cordelia looked like she was about to go insane, when a red haired girl walked in. She was carrying a medium sized box, when she put it down on the table I saw it was full of books and the sort of things you would use to cast spells. She must be Willow.
“Hi Willow” Said Fred. They seemed to be quite good friends.
“Hey” Said Willow as she turned to look at me “Hi, I don’t think we’ve met. I’m Willow” She seemed to be a really nice person, she would probably end up hating me.
“I’m Lilah, Lilah Morgan” I said, she seemed to recognise the name
“Don’t you work for an evil law firm?” She asked
“Uh, yeah. I’m also evil” She gave me a strange look, she didn’t seem to like me. I knew she wouldn’t
“You’re evil” It wasn’t a question so I didn’t answer “so Fred, you said something is wrong with Cordy” she was looking around, most likely trying to see Cordelia, Fred obviously didn’t tell her that Cordelia seems to be a spirit of some kind.
“She’s over there” I said while pointing at Cordelia.
“Where” she asked
“Only I seem to be able to see or hear her, she could be a spirit of some sort” I told her, she looked at me suspiciously and then started taking things out of her box.
