Our Farewell: End Is Near...

by BelovedSlayer

A/N: That's it. Here is the very last chapter. Enjoy!!

Two solid months has passed uneventfully since the day Buffy

gave birth to Angel's child. Within those two months, Buffy and

Angel had finally gotten married and they both had decided to move in the house on

1630 Revello Drive. Connor was two months older, but still looking as adorable as ever.

"Buffy, he is so darling," exclaimed her mother, Joyce, who was cooing at her new grandson.

"Yeah he is. He's the most lovely thing I ever seen, next to you Angel, of course," she replied

sarcastically at him. "Yeah I know," Angel replied in arrogance, placing a soft kiss to her lips in return.

"Well, I'm gonna get dressed. I'm going to the fabulous Sunnydale Mall with my buds, Willow, Xander, let's see who else, Oz, you, and yes, even Cordelia. Oh joy,” Buffy retorted

"Have a good time, honey," yelled her mother. "I will," Buffy yelled back.

"We should be going out to eat after that. That is if you're up for it," she said to Angel.

"I guess so. your mom can take care of Connor then," he smiled.

After all this time Buffy felt most happiest. She and Angel can be together without anything trying to kill them.

Most importantly, he was finally able to walk into the sunlight, not having to hide in the cold, dark shadows of night any longer.

She curled up to her only beloved and passionately kissed him again, her fingers intertwining with his.

"We better go. They were supposed to meet us in the front of the Mall." "Kay." Angel opened the door for her. "Ladies first," he said.

Buffy answered by smiling at him, fishing out her leather coat, the very one

Angel had given her a long while back at the Bronze. It was her good luck charm.

Angel closed the door behind him, running up to hold his wife's hand.

Buffy did the same, looking up at the gorgeous cloudless blue sky, the

sun shining down on him. "It's such a gorgeous day," Buffy felt peaceful, laying her

head on her husband's shoulder. "You're more beautiful than the day Buffy," he implied.

"Awe. I'm going to have tears in my eyes,“ but Buffy only wanted to roll her eyes instead.

They walked together, not paying attention to a horn honking behind them. It was the Gang.

"Buffy, come on, we better get going. We don't want to miss the sale going on," yelled her best friend Willow

"Yeah hurry up or I will have to pound you for making me even *miss* the sale," yelled Cordelia impatiently. Buffy sighed happily.

Both she and Angel got in the car, which was mostly filled with the presence of

Willow, Cordy, Oz, and Xander but they manage to fit as they

closed the door. Cordelia impatiently swerved the car, tires squealing on

the cement pavement. It was off to start the very first day of their normal lives. "Hey Buff we missed you,” cried Xander, showing puppy dog eyes.

"Yeah we thought you were Slaying," insisted Oz, holding Willow's hand. Obviously they were very much in love.

"You kidding? The Slayer in me is so beyond dead. Now I can be lazy, and enjoy a normal life with you guys and my husband." she kissed Angel, sitting on his lap but he definitely didn't mind."

"How does it feel to be human again Angel?" asked Willow. "It feels... really good. I don't have to worry about the sun killing me anymore.”

That right there pretty much sums it up. The forces of darkness were dead.

The Slayer was totally dead. There was nothing else now for

Buffy except hang with her friends, be a kick ass mother, and living life with the

only man she loves. Now nothing else mattered. She was finally whole. Finally complete. Finally content.
