Blood Ruby: Chapter 4

Buffy opened the window and climbed in. She was standing on the window ledge, Darla had seen her.
“So you’re here, took you long enough” she said
“Well, I hope you didn’t miss me too much” Buffy replied as she jumped from the ledge.
She ran through the crowd of vampires, staking many of them and grabbed the knife of Darla. Willow went over to the stone and smashed it, making the vampires loose all the power they had gained so far.
Now that the gem was gone Buffy was easily able to kill the vampires. Some of them escaped, including Darla.

Buffy took Willow home and then went home herself.

A couple of days later, when Giles had been released from hospital Willow and Buffy were telling Giles all of the details of what had happened.
“Then I jumped of the ledge and staked heaps of them” Said Buffy
“Yeah, and then she grabbed the Knife of Darla” Added Willow
“Then Willow smashed the ruby and I killed the rest of them”
“So Darla is Dead?” Asked Giles
“No, she escaped. But the Ruby is gone!”
