Blood Ruby: Chapter 3

Back in the library late the next day Willow and Giles were asking Buffy about patrol and all of the details about the warehouse. They were sitting at a table and there were several books on the table about mystical gems.
“So they were in an old warehouse?” Asked Willow
“Uh-huh. They were chanting.” Replied Buffy
“Did you hear what they were saying?” Said Giles
“No. But they had this bright red gem, I think it was the ruby.”
“Anything else?”
“Well, the two that I fought were stronger than usual”
“We found some information about the Blood Ruby” Added Willow
“Ah, Yes, the ruby was originally dug up four hundred years ago in England and named the Blood Ruby because of it’s colour, it seemed to be made of blood, A vampire stole it and soaked it in the blood of the slayer from that time. He then cast a spell of power on it and any who see it when it is activated with the correct ritual will be given immense power.”
“It sounds bad. So, how do we stop it?” Asked Buffy as she rose
“Well” Began Willow “I Think if you were to smash the stone it should stop them”
“What if they already have the power?”
“It should work for that too”
“Thanks Will”

Buffy left the library and wondered through the cold empty halls of Sunnydale High, she realized she had left her jacket in the library. Buffy ran back and entered the library. Giles was knocked unconscious and Willow was gone, she called an ambulance for Giles and then ran out to try and find Willow. It was probably the vamps that took her, so Buffy decided to start looking at the warehouse.

She got to the warehouse and once again went up the fire escape and looked through the window. She could see Willow, Darla was Holding a Knife to her throat!
