Blood Ruby: Chapter 2

“You got arrested?!” Said a shocked Willow
“Yeah, Darla was all ‘Oh please help me!’” Was Buffy’s reply
“How did your mum react?”
“Oh she was really upset”
“Did Darla know anything about the loss of vamps?”
“Well, I think she did, but I got arrested before I could get anything out of her”

Buffy was at the cemetery on patrol, still no vampires, I wonder where they all are, she thought, Xander is probably right, there at some sort of evil meeting. Buffy realized she was being followed
“So, do you have anything useful to tell me?” She said to Angel
“I’m guessing you’re wondering where all the vampires are? Right?” he said
“Well what do you know?”
“They’re trying to get the power of the Blood Ruby”
“Which means?”
“They will have enough power to rule the earth”
“Oh, could you tell me anything else?”
Angel was already gone.

As the sun was going down, in the library at Sunnydale High Buffy, Willow and Giles were sitting at a table talking.
“The Blood Ruby? Your sure?” Asked Giles
“Yes! I’m sure, apparently it will give the vamps enough power to rule the earth” Replied Buffy
“Well, I’ll consult my books and see if I can find anything”
“Can I help?” Said Willow
“Of course, Buffy, why don’t you look around and see if you can find out where they’re doing this”
“Sure” said Buffy as she stood up and went out.

As she wondered through the many alleys and lanes in Sunnydale, Buffy wondered what the vampires would do if they managed to takeover the world. Would they turn all the humans into slaves? Or just kill them all? These thoughts were not very nice, but they were realistic. Vampires hated humans, all they wanted people around for was to eat. Buffy heard a sound, it was almost like chanting, as she got closer she realized that it was chanting. It was coming from an old warehouse, she climbed up the fire escape and looked through a window. What she saw was hundreds of vampires and a bright red gem, just then she lost her balance and fell. Suddenly two vampires ran out of the building and started attacking Buffy. She staked one and the other one nearly hit her over the head with a stick but she was fast and managed to stake him too.

She decided to leave before any more came out, those two had been hard to beat.
