Spike and Buffy returned home with Dawn and Ashley. “Nibblet, you did good. You’re not dropping you’re shoulder anymore,” Spike said, hanging up his duster.

Dawn smiled. “Since you’ve been training with me, I’ve been getting better,” she said.

Buffy smiled. “The rest of the girls are staying at Xander’s so things should be pretty quiet for once,” she said, going to sit on the couch.

Spike followed her and sat next to her. His head fell onto her shoulder and he closed his eyes.

Dawn and Ashley looked at each other and smiled. “I guess we’ll be going upstairs,” Dawn whispered.

Ashley nodded in agreement and followed Dawn upstairs.

“Spike?” Buffy asked, softly.

“Hm?” Spike mumbled, practically asleep next to her.

“Are you okay?” She asked, running her fingers through his hair.

“Tired,” Spike admitted.

Buffy smiled and kissed his hair. “Come on Baby. Lets go up to bed,” she said, pushing him up.

Spike stumbled blindly to his feet. “I can sleep in the basement,” eh said.

Buffy rolled her eyes. “Spike, come on. We’ve been together for almost a month. Why wont you stay with me in my room?” She pouted.

“Don’t you think we’re moving too fast?” Spike asked, softly.

Buffy walked closer to him and rested her hands on his hips. “Spike, we’re just gunna sleep. Please? I hate it when we don’t go to bed together.”

Spike looked down at her. “Are you sure? Because I’m still adjusting,” he said.

Buffy smiled. “I’m sure. I just wanna fall asleep in your arms,” she said.

“I may be able to help you with that,” he said, sliding his hand into hers.

Buffy led him up to her room and he waited patiently while she changed her clothes.

Buffy came back in and smiled at how nervous Spike was. She slid into the bed and coaxed him in next to her. “Just relax,” she said, laying her head on his chest.

Spike laid his head above hers and his muscles slowly relaxed. “I love you, Buffy,” he whispered, closing his eyes.

“I know. I care about you a lot Spike,” she said, hoping that was enough for now.

As always, anything from Buffy was good enough for Spike. He began to purr and soon both blondes were sound asleep.
