Our Farewell: Change

Both Willow and Buffy glanced at each other, completely speechless.

For a few minutes the all powerful Slayer still couldn’t speak

but a smile was forming on Willow’s face in excitement.

“Don’t worry Buffy. We’ll get through this,” she comforted.

Buffy can only nod her head as her clutched her hands tightly against the pink

blanket, tears threatening to spill from her eyes but a smile began to tug at her lips.

Maybe this child can changer her destiny forever…

Willow’s words interrupted her thoughts.

“What are you gonna tell Angel?” she quietly asked.

“I don’t know Will. Maybe you should call and tell him the news,” Buffy responded, not looking at her.

“First thing in the morning.” Will agreed.

Maybe this time things will become completely different


Maybe for once Buffy’s life can somehow become just a little bit normal…
