Spike grinned from outside the kitchen window of Giles house. He stood up and headed for the ally. He’d seen how the Watcher had looked at the girl as she left the room. It should be fun to watch him suffer again, just as he did when he killed that school teacher. It would almost be better than killing him. Almost.

Spike heard footsteps on the road and spotted a young girl walking on her own.

“Well”, he stepped out in front of her. “Don’t you just look delicious enough to eat”.

Before the girl had a chance to react Spike had converted to his demon form and sunk his fangs into the soft skin of her neck.
