little slayer: epilogue

Cut to Buffy and Malou walking up to Malou apartment.
Malou: want to come in for a drink?
Buffy: sure
As they walk in Josta comes up to them and jumps into Malous arm.
Malou: (picking her sister up) hey schat (honey) (then her expression changes putting her sister back down she gets a look of horror on her face and she mutters softly) nee… (no).
(She then swallows hard picks up her sister again and whispers softly) het spijt me zo (I’m so sorry).
Buffy watches this not really sure what was going on.
Malou grabs a stake from her jacket and plunges it into her sisters heart who gives a very angry inhuman cry and then turns to dust.
Cut to Malou standing there with a shocked look on her face, she then turns around and without a word she walks out back into the night.
Buffy is lost for words and just stands there open mouthed just watching Malou leave. She tries to swallows the lump in her throat but it doesn’t work and about 10 minutes later she still stands there. Spike walks in, sees Buffy and is just about to turn around.
Buffy: (with a very soft voice in which tears can be heard) Spike?
Spike: (frowning) yeah luv? What is it? What happened?
Buffy: (now really tearing up) Malou, she … her sister she… she had to kill her sister…
Spike: (also lost for words) ooh my god… that’s…
Buffy: yeah…
Spike: where is she?
Buffy: …I … I don’t know… she just walked out.
Spike: I think I have an idea where she could be…
Buffy: where?
Spike: follow me
They walk out and up to the bar Spike met Malou for the first time.
Poor girl Spike thought, still so young and already gone through so much… and now this? It wasn’t fair that this had to happen, Josta was all Malou had left and now that was taken away from her as well? Damn. Life could be so cruel…
Sure enough when they entered Malou was sitting at the bar with an untouched drink in front of her and she is just staring ahead, almost catatonic. Spike and Buffy stop for a while and then walk up to her. Buffy hugs her tightly and Spike placing an arm on the little girls shoulder. Malou turns to them and as Buffy hugs her she starts to cry…

Cut to Buffy and Spike hugging and comforting Malou.
