The camera slowly shimmers through a dark wood, howling is slightly heard in the distance, the camera picks up speed until it suddenly stops in front of a woman’s face, she has long brown hair and green eyes and wearing a white dress. She Screams.

We cut to see Oz sit up in bed, breathing heavily, he looks at he clock next to him, it flashes 5am. He looks around his room shocked and sweaty, then lies back down.

Act 1

Oz walks into a brightly lit kitchen with white walls and lamented wooden flooring, sitting at the breakfast table is a woman with long brown hair, green eyes and wearing a blue top and jeans. She looks about 23 and is eating a bowl of cornflakes. Also in the kitchen is an old man, quite tall, cowboy looking with dirty white hair and blue eyes.

Old Man: Oz, makin’ sausages, you want some ?

Oz: Umm I’ll pass G Joe, not really hungry.

G Joe: Ok, Luna you want some ?

The woman looks up.

Luna: I’m fine gramps. How was your first night here Oz ?

Oz: Ok, I didn’t sleep well.

Luna: Aww, did Oz get bad dreams.

G Joe: Luna start treating him like a cousin rather then one of your boyfriends for a change huh.

Luna looks back at Oz.

Oz: Yeah what he said, and it was a bad dream, it involved you.

Luna: You’ve so had better jokes.

Oz: It wasn’t a joke.

Luna: Sure, whatever, I got to go anyway, if I don’t get to the club by 9am Billy’s gunna kill me.

She gets up from the table and picks up her bag.

Oz: Who’s Billy ?

Luna: the owner of the club, the club you and George are playing at tonight.

Oz nods.

Luna: See ya later gramps.

G Joe: Bye, please don’t crash my car.

Luna calls from the front door: That was only once gramps.

The front door shuts.

G Joe: I wish she never got her licence.

Oz: Hay gramps did you hear anyone scream last night, around 5am.

G Joe: umm no why ?

Oz: Don’t worry, just dreaming I guess.

Joe sits down in front of him with a plate full of sausages.

G Joe: You’ve been here a night and already your getting bad dreams.

Oz: No, its just…..ahh forget it, I’m gunna go finish unpacking.

G Joe: Want your old gramps to help you out ?

Oz smirks: No thanks G I got it.

He leaves the room and walks up stairs.

The camera slowly cut to a club, which looks more like a Texas bar, in walks Luna looking very nervous.

Luna (talking to herself): I’m not late, I’m not late, I’m not late……

She nears the bar and suddenly and black man with short cut hair and wearing a Hawaiian shirt with black jeans slams down a box on the counter.

Man: Your late.

Luna: Billy….dam…I mean hi, look I know I’m late, but my cousins just arrived in town and…..

Billy: Luna just unpack these boxes before I fire you.

Luna: On it!

Billy: and make sure your cousin and George are here on time tonight, we have half the town coming tonight and I don’t want it messed up!

Luna: They’ll be here.

Billy: They’d better, for the clubs sake!

He walks off.

Act 2

We see Oz in his bedroom unpacking the rest of his stuff, he goes over to one of the boxes and pulls out some cloths, as he does this he reveals a picture of him and Willow at Sunnydale high in 1999. He picks it up and looks at, he closes his eyes and begins to picture him and Willow back in Sunnydale, he runs through the things he said to her in his mind…..

FLASHBACK-Sunnydale 2000/2001

Oz and Willow in bed.

Willow trying to kiss Oz but he pulls away.

Willow: Oz... don't you love me?

Oz walking forward and kissing her.

Oz voiceover: The wolf is inside me... all the time.

Oz walking away from the house, getting into his van.

Oz voiceover: Until I figure out what that means, I shouldn't be around
you. Or anybody.

The van driving away.

Shot of Oz in the doorway, hands in jacket pockets.

WILLOW: When, when did you get back?


OZ: I shouldn't have come back now.... I just thought I'd changed.

WILLOW: You have changed. (Smiles) You stopped the wolf from coming out. I saw it.

OZ: But I couldn't look at you. (He still can't.) I mean, it turns out...
the one thing that brings it out in me is you.

OZ: But... you're happy?

WILLOW: (smiles) I am. I can't explain it-

OZ: It may be safer for both us if you don't.

(Willow looks sad.)

WILLOW: I missed you, Oz.

OZ: I know. (Pause) But now is not that time, I guess.

WILLOW: (shakes her head) No.

(They look at each other.)

WILLOW: What are you gunna do?

OZ: I think I better take off.

(Willow nods. She's teary again. Oz leans over and they hug.)

END OF FLASHBACK

A tear falls from Oz to the picture and he puts it back into the box.

We cut to see a building with Silver Edge in big flashing letters, the camera zooms inside and we see Oz on stage with his guitar and another guy, tall, slim and with dirty blond hair also with a guitar, they both playing to quite a big audience and the camera quickly flashes round to see Luna serving drinks to a couple of women. Billy walks in from behind a door.

Billy: Your cousins good.

Luna: I told you he was.

Billy: Is he living here now ?

Luna: Yes, why ?

Billy: Because toughs two are the only decent singers in this town, I’ll need them a lot of the time.

Luna: As long as he’s paid I don’t think he’ll mind.

Billy walks off.

We cut to see Oz come off stage with George, Luna runs up to them.

Luna: You guys were awesome!

Oz just smile

George: Cheers

Luna: Seriously the crowd love you!

George: Hay Luna you wonna get a drink, maybe come back to my place.

Luna: Oh please I’m not that happy for you.

George: Your loss.

Luna: Yeah sure. Hay Oz you want a lift back home ?

Oz: Sure, I’ll just go put some of stuff away and be there.

Luna: Cool I’ll meet you out back then.

George: Don’t be missing me girl.

Luna: Oh you wish!

She walks out.

George: Good luck living with her Oz, call you tomorrow.

Oz: Yeah cya

We cut to see Luna outside the back of the club, its dark and she’s waiting for Oz next to her car. She hears a twig break.

Luna: Oz. Oz is that you ?

She hears footsteps along the dirt and the trees sway I the light wind.
Moments later she screams.

Act 3

Oz walks out of the back of the club, he notices dragging marks on the ground.

Oz: Luna ?

Silence. He starts to follow the tracks on the ground, heading towards the wood.

We cut to see Grandad Joe hear the door knock, he gets up slowly out of his chair, he walks over to the door and opens it, he yells and we see his walking stick fall to the ground.

We cut back to see Oz looking through the wood, he stops and looks around, sees nothing, he raises his nose in the air and begins to run forward.

He comes to an open field, he sees Luna lying on the ground, he begins to run over to her when he is slammed onto the ground, he looks up and staring him right in the face is brown coated wolf, Oz doesn’t hesitate, he looks up to the full moon and begins to yell, seconds later he kicks off the wolf right up into the air.

Luna leans up off the ground.

Luna: Oz!

Oz: Luna stay down!

The wolf gets up again and runs at Oz, it pounces at him, but Oz jumps too slamming the wolf to the ground, Oz pulls out a pen from his pocket and stabs the wolf right in the chest. He get up and walks over to Luna.

Oz: Are you cool ?

Luna: I’m good, what was that thing ?

Oz: A werewolf, but what I did wont kill it so we’ve got to go!

Luna: A werewolf…….we are so talking later!

Oz: Lets go.

They run back through the woods.

We cut to see the sun rising, the camera settles in the wood where we see Oz and Luna still walking through.

Luna: Well Oz thanks for saving my life but why the hell have we been out here three hours!
Oz: I’m sure it was this way.

Luna: Well it’s not, can we stop for a while, my legs are killing.

Oz sits down on a stump and Luna sits opposite him.

Luna: Well at least this gives us a chance to talk.

Oz: Fire away!

Luna: Ok, so that thing is a werewolf ?

Oz: Yep, it goes……

Luna: I no what one is Oz! A human that turns into a wolf on a full moon and kills people.

Oz: Well yeah, that’s pretty much it, but there’s something else I have to tell you.

Luna: What is it ?

Oz: I’m One

Luna: One what ?

Oz: A werewolf.

Luna looks pale and her eyes wide.

Epilogue

We see Luna walking backwards and forwards, now and again looking at Oz, a few seconds later she stops.

Luna: So you’re a…

Oz: Yeah

Luna: Am I a…..

Oz: No

Luna: Good.

Oz: Are you freaked out ?

Luna: Are you kidding, I’ve moved past freaked out and I’m now at what the hell is going on!

Oz: Do you want me to go through it ?

Luna: Yeah, please!

Oz: Well about 7 years ago I was bitten by a werewolf, after that I became one. So every month for 3 days I became this thing inside.

Luna: Ok hang on, 3 days ?

Oz: It’s hard to explain but there are 3 consecutive nights where there’s a full moon, this would be the second night, so there’s….

Luna: One more tonight.

Oz: Yep

Luna: So how come you didn’t change and why were you able to fight off the thing ?

Oz: Well around the same time I became a werewolf, I met this girl called Willow, she was great, I loved her so much, anyway one day I decided to leave because of this evil animal living inside me. Anyway I found a way to stop the wolf coming out around a full moon, and last year I found a way to channel the wolf into my human side, still stopping it from coming out but keeping its strength and agility……….I don’t think I ever talked for that long.

Luna: So let me get his straight, you have super strength and speed and you don’t ever change into a werewolf.

Oz: Well I wouldn’t say super, but it’s pretty big.

Luna: God this is a lot to take in!

Oz: Well your handling it better then I thought.

Luna: What do you mean?

Oz: Well if I told any old person that they would probably think I’m crazy.

Luna: Ok one, I’ve always thought you were crazy and two, this town has been weird for like years! Weird deaths, unsolved murders, ghost stories, you name it we’ve go it!

Oz: Strange

Luna: Why ?

Oz: Well back in Sunnydale I……You know what that’s another story, plus I think I know the way!

Luna: It’s about time!
They both get up and carry on walking.

We cut to see them both walking up the path to the house, they see the front door off its hinges and spurts of blood along the walls.

Luna: Oh god what’s happened here.

Oz just looks around, smelling around.

Oz: It’s Gramps, he’s gone!
