A story for you: Proof

Spike runs out of the Blue Anchor and heads down the street. It couldn't be possible, Buffy can't be dead. He finally stops running and looks back. Nicholas is standing at the door, smiling at him. He had to have prove before he made his decision. He had to know for sure.

Through the demon grapevine, he found out that Giles place was in Westbury. He grabs a car and starts heading that way. He still couldn't face them....espically if Buffy was gone.

He finally arrives at Giles house, and he sits in the car watching. Something is going on, he gets out of the car and sneaks over to get a closer look. It's a funeral. Oh God no. NO!!! Wait, where's Buffy. He can't see her. Dawn is there...crying, and so is Willow. It can't be true. Spike gets back in his car, and stares straight ahead. It was Buffy...the reason he got his soul back. No one else, and for no other reason. He drives back to London to give his answer to Nicholas.

Back at the house, Buffy walks out and places flowers on the grave. It was so sad....Dawn's pet canary has died.
