Damn the vampires
I live to fight

Just be quiet with the prophecies
and for a moment, let me forget
Let heaven and hell cancel each other out
Let me watch a sunset

I beg you, please,
can't we pretend we're in another time?
Can't we pause in the killing
and forget this duty of mine?

By that sad look in your eyes
I see that my request is too great
But you can't blame me for asking
You can't blame me for wanting to change my fate.

It's all right, and I'm sorry
I know it's wrong of me to chase my dreams
They're obsolete now, anyway...
They were lost amidst the screams.
