Sometimes I go back. Willow doesn't know. Neither do Giles, Spike, Xander or Anya. Not even Riley knows. Think that I don't tell them because if they knew, they wouldn't understand.

I sit and I think in your bed, and I cry at the spot where I sent you to hell so long ago. When I sleep there, I feel safe and I dream of the time we spent together. I think I've learned to accept the truth about us. True, we're soulmates. We're "starcrossed". In a perfect world, we'd always be together. And as Giles said, "It's almost poetic." Now I realize that we really are better off apart.

I know I'll never forget, and I know that I'll always love you. I don't cry anymore because you left and I dont regret anything we did or decisions made, alone or together.

I've forgiven Xander for lying to me, and my mother for initiating the demise of our already-doomed realtionship.

Sure, it still hurts. It always will. And I know that I will never be in love with anyone else. I know that you want me to be married, to go into the light with him, to make love, and to have children. I'm doing this for you Angel, to make you happy. I'm saying yes. Yes Riley, I will be your wife.
