A Trip to Hogwarts: Epilogue

“They’re really gone?” Ron asked as he walked with Harry and Hermione down to the Great Hall. Harry had just finished telling then that Dawn, Connor, and all their new teachers had left, “This is horrible.”

“Yeah,” Harry replied, “But they promised to write.” He tried to make Ron feel better.

“And we can visit them in California; I’ve always wanted to go,” Hermione said, “It’ll be okay.”

“No, it’s not that,” Ron said, “If they’re gone it means Snape is back.”

Harry laughed.

“So anything interesting happen while we were gone?” Hermione asked.

“Not really,” Harry said with a knowing smile as the entered the Great Hall and joined the others at the Gryffindor table.

The Hyperion hotel was bustling with activity as everyone got settled into their new homes and helped prepare to open Angel Investigations for business.

Fred and Wesley sat on the floor of Angel’s office sifting through books and files, while Gunn carried some weapons over to their new weapons closet.

Angel walked up to Cordy who was behind the reception desk, putting away paper work and making the desk look as nice as possible for prospective client tell.

Cordy looked up at him, “You know this is just temporary until I become a famous actress.”

Angel smiled at her, “Are you sure there isn’t anything I can do to change your mind?” he said, giving her a kiss.

She smiled, “I suppose I could work part time.”

“Hey Angel where’s Connor he’s suppose to be helping me organize the weapons closet,” Gunn said.

“He’s upstairs talking to his girlfriend,” Cordy said, slightly amused.

“Dawn is not his girlfriend,” Angel said, “He’s too young to have a girlfriend.”

“He’s 16,” Cordy said, “It’s like a right of passage.”

Angel frowned and walked over to the stairs, “Connor!”

“I’ll be done in a minute, dad!” Connor yelled. He was in his room, talking to Dawn on the phone, “I miss you,” he told her.

“I miss you too,” Dawn said. She was lying on her stomach on her bed and she was talking to Connor, when an owl flew through her window, into her room, and on to her bed. She opened the letter, “Hey, I jus got an owl from Hermione.”

“How is she?” Connor asked on the other end.

“Good, she says she can come visit this summer and so can Harry and Ron,” Dawn replied.

The doorbell rand downstairs and Buffy answered it. It was Giles, Anya, and Xander, “Hey, guys. Thanks again Giles for babysitting Dawn’s in her room. Spike?!”

“Yeah love,” the vampire said, coming into the foyer as Buffy put on her coat.

“Are you ready to go?” He nodded, “Dawn! I’m leaving! Have fun with Giles!”

“Okay!” Dawn yelled back down as her sister left on her double date with Spike, Xander, and Anya.

“Where’s Tara and Willow,” Xander asked, once they were all outside.

“Not coming,” Buffy replied.

“Oh,” Anya said with a knowing smile.

“What?” Xander asked his girlfriend.

“They don’t want to come because they’re having sex like we did last night,” Anya replied.

Xander groaned, “Anya, remember our conversation about stuff not to say in front of our friends. That was number 25.”

“There’s 25,” Spike said.

“No there’s more then 25,” Anya told him as they got into Xander’s car and headed to the Bronze.
