Chapter 3: Santa Claus is Coming to Town

The eerie stillness of the Bronze, closed for the holidays, was broken abruptly by spotlights snapping on and a quick burst of staccato notes.

Sweet, in full neon red and green glory, stepped into the light, a devilish, gleeful smile on his face as his minions took their places behind him.

"You better watch out,
You better not cry,
Better not shout, either,
I'll tell you why:
Santa Claws has just come to town!"

Turning to his minions, Sweet, still in stage voice, commands “It’s time to gather the troops. Looks like this town is in need of some serious holiday spirit. Bring our old friends here; I’m just tingling for a reunion party.”

The minions nod and waltz out, beginning a slow and steady,

“O come all ye faithful,
Be festive, have spirit.
O come ye, to the Bronze and Him,
Come and behold Him,
Born the King of Songs,
O come, with us, adore Him,
O come, come to Him,
O come, let us bring you to Him,
Sweet, Lord of Song.

As they head through the darkening streets, people along the road stop and waltz in time with them, and some begin following the three minions, drawn to them by some invisible compulsion.
