A Dream Come True: The beach

A Dream Come True.

The beach.

"I could hold you in my arms forever." Angel whispers.

Angel and Buffy are lying on a beach, bathing in the sun, and holding each other close.

"So, why don't you ?" Buffy asks Angel.

"Because... This is only a dream, a fantasy. And sooner or later, you have to wake up."
Buffy touches Angel's face with her smooth hands and brings her lips to his, they kiss, it is a kiss that feels like it would never end.

Unfortunately...

"Mommy! Mommy! Wake up!"
A young blond haired child is jumping up and on the bed, waking her mother from her sleep.

"Angel!!!!!" she awakes, calling out her former lover's name.

"Who's Angel ?" the young girl asks ones she sits down.
Buffy stands up and grabs some fresh clothes out of the closet.

"Hmm ?" she turns around. "Oh, no one, it was just a... (she pauses)...a dream, it was only a dream." she sounds disappointed.

She walks into the bathroom and closes the door. She fills a bath with hot water and gets into it. She lets her mind wonder of and she falls asleep again, letting her body sink further into the water.

"You're still here." Buffy says, she sounds relieved.

"I told you I'd hold you in my arms forever. That wasn't a lie. I would never tell you a lie."

Angel and Buffy are sitting on the beach in each others arms again.
Angel looks around, he sees the ocean turning into a flood , a flood that could kill them both.
He stands up.

"You have to wake up, right now! Or you'll drown!"
He looks at her one last time, then he walks towards the ocean, but once his feet touch the water, he doesn't stop moving forward, he keeps walking till he disappears out of sight and Buffy is left alone.

"Wake up...." she hears the voice of her Angel one last time.

"Angel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Buffy scares awake from her sleep, she pulls her body out of the water from the bath and she breathes heavily, she looks at the bath, she was drowning, her body was under the water, until the moment she scared awake.

"He saved me..." she says to herself and comes out of the bath and gets dressed.
