Movie News for 2006: More info on SMG's

The "Alice in Wonderland" film is called "Alice" (never would of guessed!) and is a sort of horror version of alice in wonderland. It's based the video game and on the book by Frank Beddor called "The looking glass wars". The blurb on the back is

"Your think you know the true story of "Alice in Wonderland"? Well think again. Alyss is destined to become Queen of Wonderland..Until her parents are murdered. She flees to safety in our would. Years pass. Now it is time to return. Step into a dassling new world. Dare to enter the looking glass maze. Because this is Wonderland as you've never seen it before!"

I would advises you to read the book as it's very well writen, has a good plot and had me on the edge of my seat! *****

It is said to be directed by German-born Marcus Nispel (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre). Several actresses have been rumored for the title role over the years, including Milla Jovovich and Eliza Dushku.


I can't wait to see it!
