(Xander , Cordelia , Willow , Oz . and Giles are in the library , looking up stuff , as usual , when they start singing )
Something's been going on
and we're the only ones that know
(Buffy is out side , in a dark alley , doing you know what )
I don't mind the staking , boy
but you don't know when to stop
(After staking the vampire , she starts to walk , thinking out loud , about Angel )
You drove Dru crazy
but not me baby
it's not me your fooling
Why are we always fighting
I wish that we were loving
(she sees another vampire as she searches for her weapons )
Where's my stake
and holy water?
it makes me feel safer with you
where's my stake ?
give it to me
it makes me feel safer out at night .
(Back at the library)
We can't tell you what we know
whenever we go out
(Buffy)
I think I'm falling for you
and I don't know what to do
we're enemies
but I can't help it

(another vampire)
Where's my stake
and crucifix
they make me feel safer near you
where's my stake ?
give it to me
it makes me feel safer out at night
(Angel comes out and starts singing to Buffy )
It's dark all around ,
I never can see the light
I'll never see the bright light that you do
(Buffy sings as she stakes , yet another vampire)
I kick them to the ground
All that's left is dust and dirt
(Buffy thinks out loud )
I've got to get another job , if I want to stay alive
