After it all
Chapter 1: Relationships collide
At a new coffee shop named after Sunnydale where the cold winter night rose on a stranger finds a girl that’s a slayer.
The slayer’s name is Patty West, a new student at this new academy only full of potential slayers, its like a high school only you train to fight vampires, learn about monsters and learn about legends that involves slayers. As the stranger sits down the slayer looks up and freezes instantly.
The stranger looks up at her and his face is red and has small horns that are colored blue. He has a devilish smile on that makes people freeze instantly, he says in a deep voice, “Tell THE Slayer that the big evil isn’t gone yet.” She nods and the stranger vanishes after she looks away. She takes a deep breath and takes her coffee outside where she threw it away.
The next morning we see everyone talking about the information Patty told everyone. The news spreads really fast around campus. Soon Buffy hear the news because many people told her. At first she thought that it was a prank.
Then Patty told her so she started to get into it. She told Giles and Willow to research about a devilish man with a deep voice and blue horns.
She then says, “Thanks Willow and Giles, I appreciate it.” She clicks off her phone and then looks out side to see a sign that says ‘ Premiere Movie opening on October 31, An Angel Will Come for You.’ Buffy always stared at it and then she had the slight memory of Angel coming to her dorm room and having a fight with Riley.
She cherished those memories of Angel; if she only heard what he was doing then she wouldn’t worry that much about him. It’s been over two years that he hasn’t called her.
Buffy then looked up and gasped when Xander came up right in front of her and he said to her, “Buffy, Buffy! Hello are you there?”
“Xander, what’s up?”
“What’s up, I’ve been calling your name for a couple minutes now. The bell rang, it’s time to go to your fighting session with fifth period.”
Buffy then started to gather her stuff and said, “Oh I’m sorry I didn’t realize the bell rang, I was too busy staring atsomething.”
Xander shifted and looked outside where he saw the word Angel and then turned to Buffy and said, “Buffy if you keep on staring at that stupid bill board your going to worry about him too much then that could lead to going to him, which could make you run around in circles making you very possibly dizzy.”
“Ok, I’ll stop looking at it, I’m just very worried about him. It’s like he can’t just call me for a minute saying he’s ok. Last time I heard from him he said he was going to go kill an apocalypse with the help of his gang.”
“I’m sure he’ll call soon, just go to your class before the girls start using you as ‘you’re your late punching bag’.”
Buffy gathers her things and while walking she turns to him and says, “Ha, Ha very funny, Xander.”
Buffy walks away and Xander yells back, “Your welcome!”
During 5th period with the 20 slayers and the only one Buffy, they were practicing their jabs, kicks and punches while blind folded. Buffy went to the center of the circle and made a speech as always.
“So when you jab try to catch your opponent off guard, so instead of punching head on try fake jabbing and then jab on the other side. Now since we only have a couple of minutes left before the period ends lets demonstrate.”
Buffy took a look at all of the girls and told one girl to come up and try her best. The best person in the whole class was Alex Drake. She’s usually shy but she can really pack a punch if she tries hard.
“Alex come up here and lets demonstrate.”
Alex didn’t say anything, she just stood there and then when she got called she walked to the other side of Buffy facing her.
“Alex put this blindfold on,” said Buffy while tossing the blindfold. “And then try your best to catch me off guard.”
Alex nodded and didn’t put her blindfold on until Buffy did. Buffy put hers on and then said, “Alex say ready when you’re ready to start.”
“Okay.”
Alex put her blindfold on slightly till a mysterious man from behind her told her to let him have this one. Alex nodded and everyone else kept quiet. The man put the blind fold on and then signaled Alex to say ready.
“Ready.”
Buffy went easy, she fake jabbed left and then jabbed right. The man caught all her moves and tried to hi kick her. She bend back wards and got back up again and tried to hit him in the head but, the man caught her leg and then jumped it up so she would fall. She didn’t fall, she spun all around and got to her feet. She then tried to punch his head and he caught her hand. She tried to hit him in the ribs but then caught her other hand. He went close up to her ear and said, “C’mon Buffy, I know your better than that.”
Buffy then realized that he sounded just like Angel, ‘But it can’t be, its day time… it just can’t be.’
Buffy got free, took off her blindfold and saw the only person in the world she would rarely see.
