The dawn of a new era (formaly known as a new dawn): Chapter 1

This is in reponse to Timan's Out Of Time Challenge-
The challenge is simple. Send a Buffy/Angel character or character relation (e.g. son, daughter, parent sister or brother etc.) to a different point in time in the Buffy/Angel timeline.

Details

The time travel destination must be within the Buffy/Angel timeline.
The origin doesn’t have to be within the timeline.
The travel can either be mystical or technological and can happen on purpose or by accident.

Story

Buffy and the potentials are down in the basement, dawn is watching them from the stairs. As the girls chatter amongst themselves, Buffy suddenly throws the axe she is holding, at the target board behind them. They all jump and stare.

Buffy
Your all gonna die. But you knew that already, cause that’s the cool reward for being human, big dessert at the end of a meal. Don’t kid yourself guys, this whole thing is about death. Think your different cause you might be the next slayer? Death is what a slayer breathes. What a slayer dreams about when she sleeps, death is what a slayer lives… My death could make you the next slayer. Oh goody rapt attention, I love that so much.

She walks over and pulls the axe out.

Buffy
Now where was I? If we go-

Buffy stopped as she took in the facial expressions the girls were wearing. She turned around to see what had their attention, and gasped in shock at the scene before her. Dawn was now standing up on the stairs looking scared as wind wiped around her forming what resembled a mini twister. Suddenly there was a flash of light in which Buffy was thrown back and dawn disappeared.
Buffy scrambled to her feet.

Buffy (yelling)
DAWN!?!

She bolts up the stairs while the girls continue to look on in shock.

Meanwhile, down at one of the cemeteries

Leaves get caught up in a strong gale, they go around faster and faster until with a loud CRACK, they disappear, leaving an older looking Dawn standing in their place.

Dawn (looking around)
Oh Fuck!

Hey guys, sorry about the scrip format. I just find that the easiest to write. I know this chapter was very short, i have the next one written and it is longer. I thought i would wait a few days before i post it, that way i can take on all constructive criticism that anyone has and apply it to the next chapter. I have heaps of ideas for this story and i see it lasting for a while, but i'm nervous about how i'm portraying it. PLEASE review, no need to sugar coat!
