Buffy stood in the bushes behind the hospital, well more like sat on a falled log and twiddled Mr. Pointy in her hands, no vamps, none.. not even one.. she sighed again and watched as they closed the roller doors and the transportation van rumbled off into the distance, standing and walking back out into the lit up area she walked briskly back around the front of the building and down onto the sidewalk, the night air had a certain chill to it tonight. normally this time of year it was really warm, and she supposed it was just a cool breeze that was flowing off the ocean from docktown. The slayer walked back down to the school and went around the side entrance, she noticed the library lights were still on and most likely Giles would be hanging around, looking at his Musty books as he always did.

Buffy pushed the door to the library open and walked in slowly, looking and seeing that giles was the only one left now, Xander and Willow probably got bored, well.. Xander would of gotten bored and dragged willow along with him, but she didn't mind, best they walk home together, even if the vampire population had seemed to of gone poof.. it was still better to be safer than sorry.

"Hey Giles, found anything horrible for me to smoosh, huge demons? vampire gods? Something to make me stop getting bored!" Buffy said as she sat down on the desk and looked at him painfully.

"Buffy i've been in contact with the council and they can't seem to see any reason for it other than well.. you defeated the master - you stopped the hellmouth from opening.." Giles pulled off his glasses and sat them on the desktop "if going by that im sure any vampire in town would be trying to hide from you"

Buffy looked at him and perked up a little "yeah.. i did didn't it! Buffy - One, Vampires - Zero!" Buffy smiled and slid off the desk and took her jacket off, it was quite warm in the high school

"So what did you find out from that young man hmm?" Giles said as he put a book down he was reading and put his glasses back on after giving them a wipe with his shirt

"Well i found out that bingo, vamp attacked him, well im sure it was, he didnt get a good look but the marks were vampish" buffy said as she nodded "But he healed fast... he.. well... he was healing at the same speed *i* heal.... i think we might have some mojo on the go or something.." Buffy looked at Giles and nodded once

"Some people do have quite fast healing powers Buffy, i wouldnt underestimate the power of medicine.." Giles stood and walked over to a bookshelf and picked up another book

"Yeh, i suppose" buffy pouted, she KNEW something was up with Bray, something different

"Maybe you should go home Buffy, have some time with your Mother... i know she would appreciate it.. if its as quiet as it has been no point in you patroling tonight" Giles handed Buffy her jacket and bag she had left there earlier, she took them and walked out of the library, her mind racing a million miles an hour. So many questions... but they could wait till morning

Buffys dream was scattered all over the place, she felt like she was floating in a dream world, she was weightless. but she looked all around herself and slowly surroundings faded in, she was on what she somehow knew was the ghost roads.. how could she be here? and why now? looking down she saw a purple misty line flowing through her, and into the past, for miles and miles, but into the future, it kept going, but it seemed to be distorted as it hit a split. two bodily shaped forms, holding hands .. the line seemed to become a cuccoon around the two figures, and then fade out as it flicked from one of the figures to the other.. and then a cold hand grabbed buffys shoulder and she turned, the master smirking at her...
