“I tried to tell them,” Anya sobbed. “But they wouldn’t listen.”

“I know,” Spike said.

“I said they were evil,” Anya added tearfully.

The pounding on the door grew more persistent.

“They’ll break through soon,” Spike observed, already resigned to his fate.

With Buffy and Xander gone, neither really had any reason left to go on.

“You saw what they did to them.” Anya said.

The pounding grew even more persistent. When the door finally gave way, hundreds of bunnies tumbled gleefully into the room.

Spike sighed.

And Anya screamed.
