In eachothers arms again: chapter 1

“She’s in Europe,” Angel said to Spike.

“You can’t keep me form her,” Spike said.

“She’s not mine to keep our yours,” Angel said, angry.

“You can’t destroy what we had!” Spike said, tears choking his voice.

“You didn’t have anything with her. She’ll never love you like she loves me,” Angel said.

“Shows how well you know me Angel,” Buffy said, surprising everybody. “And we did have something.”

“Buffy,” Angel said, nervously.

Buffy scooted away from him went to Spike. She jumped into his arms and wrapped her legs around his waist, as he spun her around. Tears flowed down both her face.

“Oh god, Buffy,” Spike whispered, holding her tightly.

“I missed you,” Buffy said.

“Buffy, what are you doing here?” Angel asked.

Spike reluctantly set Buffy down. “I had dreams about Spike coming back and I came here,” Buffy said, smiling at a now glowing Spike. “Were you gunna call me before or after you guys killed each other?”

“He just got back,” Angel said.

“Is there somewhere were Spike and I can talk in private?” She asked.

“We’re leaving. We have things to do,” Angel said, and everyone followed them out.

Buffy turned and hugged Spike. “I love you.”

“I love you too,” Spike hugging her back.

Buffy lifted her head and kissed him with everything she had in her. She hoisted herself up onto his waist again and he carried her to the couch.


Hours later, Buffy was asleep in Spike’s lap when Angel came in. “Take her to your apartment so she can sleep. Harm has your key. Its across from mine,” Angel said.

“Thanks Angel,” Spike said, following Angel’s directions.

It wasn’t long before Buffy and Spike were asleep in Spike’s bed.

Some time later she stirred. “Spike?” She mumbled.

“Yeah. Pet?” Spike said, stroking her hair.

Buffy opened her eyes and saw him still with her. “I’ve been so lost with out you,” she said, tears welling in her eyes.

“I’m not leaving ever again,” he whispered, kissing her forehead.

Buffy looked up at him. “Promise?” She asked.

“Promise,” Spike said.

Buffy leaned up and kissed him, much to his surprise. Spike kissed her back and they continued what they started in Angel’s office.
