Part Two

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Beeeeeeeeeeeeep! Beeeeeeeeeeep! The alarm clock on Buffy's nightstand went off , ringing in the begining of a new day. Normally, Buffy would hit the snooze button, roll over and sleep for another ten minutes, or until her mother came in telling her to get her butt in gear. Well you can't really blame the girl, slaying vampires by night doesn't really aid in getting a goodnight's sleep. But there must have been something wrong with Buffy this morning, because she hit the alarm button with a smile on her face and literally jumped out of bed. After doing so Buffy looked at her room and stopped to think.

"Mmmmmmm, what a beautiful day it is! I can't wait to get to school," the pretty slayer thought as she looked in her closet for something to wear. Buffy normally dreaded going to school, but today she had a purpose. She had a plan, a misson in her warpped mind. Ever since she got home from the Bronze last night it had been all she could think about, HE was all she could think about. Those smoldering eyes, that dark hair, that lopsided grin...it was enough to make a girl go mad! Or atleast Buffy.....

Buffy decided to wear a black mini skirt, and a tank top that left little to the imagination. She smiled , " This ought make him drool." Suddenly her mind stopped and thought about what she was doing. She was trying to get Xander.....Xander of all people....one of her best friends...and what about Angel? But the thought was pushed into the recesses of her mind just as quickly as it had come up. Xander was what she wanted, and Xander was what she'd get. " It shouldn't be too hard, " she thought while getting dressed, " He already said he loved me once. Can't be too hard to make him love me again."

* * *
Little did Buffy know, but Xander had someone else on his mind. Across Sunnydale, Xander himself was getting ready to go to school. Rushing around so he'd be out the door on time. He wanted to get to HER house to walk her to school before she left. She had been in his dreams last night. Like an angel she came and they, well, did ....stuff. And Xander had woken up feeling, well,.....let's just not go there.

Anyways, the handsome Slayerette was looking at himself in the mirror making sure everything was in place. His hair was combed, his shirt tucked in, and he looked good. He usually just looked around the war zone he called a room, picked up whatever looked clean and threw it on. But today was different. He wanted to impress her...to make her want him the way he wanted her right now, which was pretty badly.

She looked so beautiful last night. Her image was burned into his retinas. Her fiery red hair, her sweet smile, her big brown eyes.....Willow. Even her name was enough to take his breath away. She was perfect. Everything he could want in a woman. Beautiful, smart, funny, his best friend....So why hadn't he felt this way about her before? Xander shrugged. He didn't know and he really didn't care. All that mattered now was that he felt this way and intended to do something about it. What exactly he was going to do was another story.

He shrugged again as he thought about it, gave himself a last look in the mirror and went left to go find Willow.

* * *
A few blocks away Willow was still in bed. She didn't want to go to school, which is understandable. What teenager wants to go to school? Well, Willow did.... normally atleast. But today was different. The hacker just sat in her bed trying to formulate a plan to get out of school. No, she was not pulling a Feris Buehler. She had a legit reason for not going to school. She was trying to figure out a way to steal someone else's boyfriend.

Now Willow knew it wasn't nice, and Willow knew that it wasn't right, and Willow knew that this was not like her...but the fact was...Willow didn't care. Not in the least bit. Not even if the person she was trying to seduce was a 241 year old vampire, not to mention one of her best friend's boyfriend.

Ever since Buffy had came to Sunnydale, she had gotten all the boys' attention. Especially Xander's...Willow only thought about him for a moment then focused on Angel again. Of course she wanted him, what girl in her right mind wouldn't? He was gorgeous, not to mention a good vampire. Not one of those evil one's that sucked on peoples's necks....eww!

She was going to do whatever it was gonna take to get Angel...and nothing, not Buffy, not school, nothing was going to stop her.

* * *
The Library at Sunnydale High School was quiet, nothing unusual for this place. Children rarely stopped by, unless they were total nerds or fighting the forces of evil, and the libraian was usually sitting peacefully at his desk, reading some musty book.

And that was exactly what Giles was doing, sitting at a table reading a book. Although he wasn't really paying attention to his book. The handsome watcher was thinking.....What was he thinking about? Well, let's just say if he was Catholic, Giles would be doing a couple dozen Hail Mary's right about now.

Giles felt like a silly teenager again. Daydreaming, wasting time thinking about some special girl.....who happened to be gorgeous, blonde , and twenty years his junior. Why was he thinking of Buffy? He'd tried to anaylze his feelings the night before, and that led to an extreme lack of sleep. He thought about all the consequences that came along with loving her. Like, oh, say jail...and the fact that she probably wouldn't return his affections...and whatever happened to his feelings for Jenny? All these thoughts spun in the watcher's head and then he realized.....he didn't give a damn! He didn't care! He loved her. Oh sure he haden't ever even thought about loving her before, but did that matter? Nope!

Giles snapped out of his reverie as the door to the library opened. Hoping that it would be Buffy, though not likely since school didn't start for another twenty minutes, Giles turned to see who it was. It was Cordelia....as in, Chase....as in: doesn't set foot in the library unless she absolutely has to and at the same time would rather have a root canal.

The beautiful girl stepped in looking almost timid. Kinda shy, which was unusal for Cordelia. If she didn't like something she usually vocalized her opinion. Which is a good thing, except not out of Cordy's mouth because it usually ends up hurting someone else's feelings. But as Giles looked at the girl, she didn't seem herself....especailly since she was in the library...and school didn't start for another twenty minutes.

"Cordelia? Hello, um....is something wrong?"

The cheerleader stepped closer to Giles' desk. She was so beyond confused. He looked good.....more than good. He good great to Cordy. * God,* she thought, * the only man on earth that could make tweed look decent.* She had been thinking about him ever since last night.....why? She could have any guy in the entire school and she wanted the nerdy librarian?? Yup. Righto. Bingo. He was all she'd thought about and has formulated a plan to get him....um, come into the library and get a book. Okay so it wasn't a good plan, but Cordy felt she had to do something.

"Um, Giles, I, um....Came to get a book." * Great. Now not only am I have fantasies about the librarian, I'm also SO much the lame talker. aHHH!,* Cordelia thought, frustrated, as she stared at Giles.

Giles cocked an eyebrow in suspicion. " A book? Um, what book might you be looking for?"

But before Cordy could get her mouth to move, the door of the library opened again. And in stepped Oz. The cute boy's eyes were glued to Cordelia. .... She just wrinkeled her nose and turned back to Giles, who was still looking at Oz.

"Oz, may I help you," the Watcher asked politely.

Oz gave Giles something that could have been interpereted as a nod, but he was still glued to Cordelia. She was beautiful. Oz could normally formulate a complete sentence fairly well. But as he looked at Cordelia his mind went blank. She was gorgeous....okay, sure, she could be a self centered bitch sometimes....but did that really matter? Oz was in love...with someone that didn't know he was alive.

"Um, but you were helping me. Remeber?," Cordelia asked hopefully.

"Well," Giles said with a chuckle, " two students who want to check out books.....there must be some paranormal force at work here."

But before Giles could do anything else, and before Cordelia could think of a way to get Oz away from her, the phone rang in Giles' office.

He turned to the students, " Excuse me."

Cordelia pouted, then turned when she felt eyes on her. She turned to find Oz staring at her like an idiot.

"Oz...."

Oz didn't respond, just stared some more.

"Earth to Oz."

This time Oz attempted to make a sound, but it wasn't understandable.

Cordelia cocked her head and walked over to Oz, whose heart was doing summer saults as she neared.

"Oz. I'm not interested. Never going to be. That outfit is SO 1995 and stop drooling! God! Boys are so pathetic," Cordelia said as she turned away, " That's why I gotta get me a man....in tweed....."

Poor Oz turned away, with puppy dog eyes, and left the library.

* * *
Giles picked up the phone in his office, " Hello?"

"Giles," said the voice on the other end of the line, " This is Angel."

Giles went cold when he heard the other man's name. Angel. Buffy's Angel....Buffy. Angel.Buffy.Angel. See this equation didn't include Giles, so he was a little, well, jealous. No...REALLY jealous.

But Giles kept his composure, " What can I do for you , Angel?"

"I was just wondering if you have given anymore thought to what happened last night at the Bronze. The way everyone collapsed was kinda weird. I thought maybe you had a theory. Oh, and did you find anything new on the creature that has been attacking -"

For some odd reason hearing the vampire's voice made Giles nuts. And he expressed his nutsness in a not-so-nice-way, " No, I haven't given it any thought, and I have more important matters to think of at the moment. And one more thing: I'd appreciate it if you didn't call during school hours, some of us do have jobs. Good-Bye."

*There," Giles thought, * I showed him.*

* * *
Angel stared at the reciever after Giles hung up on him. What had gotten in to everyone? Something was going on-

Before Angel could finish thinking there was a knock on his apartment door.....

* Who would be here,* he thought. Being a vampire and all , Angel didn't get many vistitors during the day.

He ran a hand through his sandy colored hair and looked through the peep hole to see who was there.

It was a woman. A beautiful woman....a woman he knew.....or he thought he knew...it kinda looked like-no! It couldn't be...but it was!

"Willow," Angel asked as he opened the door.

Willow stood in the hallway with a smile on her face. She was wearing a short, SHORT, Skirt and a halter top. And her hair tumbled down her back in fiery waves.

"May I come in," she asked confidently.

Angel's brow creased, " Um....sure. Willow, is something wrong. Is it Buffy-"

Willow breezed by Angel and sat down on the couch with a smile bright as the sun.

"No, nothing's wrong with Buffy. She's fine. How are YOU?"

Angel sat in a chair across from Willow and looked confused, " willow, shouldn't you be in school or something. And how did you know where I lived?"

She gave him a mischeivous grin, " I hacked into the city records. "

Angel gave a small nod, " So, why are you here."

Willow didn't reply. Her face became somber. She walked, uh rather struted, over towards Angel.

* What's with her,* he wondered, * This isn't like Willow.*

Even while thinking this, Angel couldn't move. The redhead sat down on the chair next to him and looked him straight in the eye.

"I came here.....to be with you."

Angel straightened, " Um, Willow- What's gotten into you. I mean-"

She blew in his left ear.

"Does it matter, " she whispered, in a low voice.

Angel pushed Away from Willow, " Willow, I don't know what you think but-"

A sudden rage came over Willow. She jumped out of her chair. " What I think? What I think!? All I have been thinking about is you! To find some way to make you love me the way I love you."

"What!?" Angel asked shocked, " You.....love me? Since when? I always thought that you had a thing for Xander-"

She walked towards him, " I don't care about Xander.....He's just a kid. Not like you , though."

She came closer to him and he backed up. She kept coming closer until she had the much stronger vampire up against the wall.

"Willow-" Angel started to say, but he was cut off when Willow's lips captured his in hers. The kiss was raw, almost animal like. Angel was so shocked that he stood there for a moment, but he quickly pushed away when he felt Willow's tongue slip into his mouth.

Willow backed up with a smile on her face, " Did you like that."

"No," he said seriously, " Willow, stop. Look at yourself. Something's very wrong here."

Willow came close again, " Yeah, something is wrong. I don't have you in bed yet."

Angel stood in shock at the girl's words.
