Bad Boys Are...: 2
by Ksue
Buffy and Willow sat together in Buffy’s room that Friday night. Buffy was freaking out. She had nothing to wear, none of her clothes fit, her hair was impossible, etc. Half of Buffy’s closet was strewn across the floor and Willow laughed as she looked around.
“Buffy, honey, settle down,” Willow smiled.
“Settle down? Will, this is a date with Spike! And, we’re going to one of Jordan’s parties! JORDAN! The guy that throws the single hottest parties in this town! How am I supposed to settle down? I have no clothes!” Buffy wailed. She flopped down on the bed and covered her face with her hands..
“Buffy, I’m going to pick out your clothes. You’ll be dressed and ready in fifteen minutes when he picks you up. Okay?” Willow said. Buffy nodded and Willow headed straight for the last outfit, right in the back of Buffy’s closet. She pulled out her Halloween costume from a few years ago. belly baring tied shirt in a rusty brown color and a short black leather skirt. Then she pulled out Buffy’s calf high black boots.
“You’re Halloween costume?” Buffy asked, raising her eyebrows.
“Yep. Go put it on,” Willow demanded. Buffy grabbed the outfit and hurried into the bathroom. A few minutes later she came out looking perfect. Her hair was down, but curled and her make up was perfect.
“Good. See, you’re hot. Spike is gonna lose it when he sees you,” Willow smiled. The doorbell rang and Buffy barreled down the stairs.
“I got it! Bye mom! Thanks, Will. See you later.” Buffy yanked open the door and smiled when she saw Spike. He was dressed in a tight black tee shirt and black pants with his signature trench coat.
“Hello luv,” Spike smiled. He held out his hand and Buffy took it. “Ready to go?”
“Yeah.”

Buffy and Spike walked into Jordan’s house. The music was so loud that Buffy could barely hear anything. Spike led her onto the dance floor spinning her once and pulling her close. They started grinding close together and Spike’s hands roamed down her back. Buffy rested her forehead against Spikes as they danced, smiling at each other.
“I’m gonna get a drink. You want anything?” Spike asked after the song was done.
“No thanks. Beer and Buffy are definitely non-mixy things,” Buffy smiled. Spike nodded and headed over to the drink table, pouring himself a beer. A girl wandered up to Spike, stroking his arm and whispering in his ear. He laughed and kissed her cheek. Buffy’s heart sank, but Spike immediately pushed the girl away and shook his head. Then he made his way back over to Buffy.
“Hey, baby,” Spike smirked, kissing her.
“Who was that girl?” Buffy asked, trying to sound casual.
“Who? Oh, yeah. She’s just this girl I used to date. Before Dru. Don’t fret, sweetie. I only have eyes for you,” Spike crooned.
“You have the best voice,” Buffy sighed.
“Thank you,” Spike said, They spent the rest of the night dancing. Spike played a few songs with the band and continued to drink. Buffy thought for sure that Spike had to be plastered, but he was acting normally.
“You ready to head home?” Spike asked.
“Yeah, but I don’t think you should drive,” Buffy admitted.
“Buff, come on. I’ve done this before, don’t worry. We’ll be fine,” Spike assured her. Buffy listened carefully to his voice. His words weren’t slurred and he didn’t seem to be staggering at all.
“Okay. How much did you have to drink exactly?” Buffy asked.
“Just a couple. Nothing big,” Spike shrugged. They made their way towards his car and home.
Spike walked Buffy up the driveway to her front door, grasping her hand tightly. They had made it all the way back without incident, although Buffy did think that Spike’s driving skills were a bit on the shady side.
“Thanks for tonight, Spike. I had a really good time,” Buffy sighed.
“Me too,” Spike sighed. He reached forward and caressed Buffy’s cheek. Le leaned in and brushed his lips against Buffy’s. She leaned forward, wanting more from him, but he pulled back an evil grin spreading across his face. He quickly leaned back in a kissed her deeply, slipping his tongue into Buffy’s mouth the moment her lips part. It was a slow, sensual kiss. Buffy pressed herself into Spike, pulling him closer to her.
“I have to go,” Spike said. He kissed Buffy quickly one last time and walked away. Buffy barged into the house and ran upstairs. Willow was waiting, surfing the web on Buffy’s computer, just as she said she would.
“How was it?” Willow asked.
“Amazing! The drive home was a rush. Spike was a little drunk, but it was all okay,” Buffy babbled. Willow’s face fell.
“Buffy, you rode home with someone who was drunk?” Willow asked.
“No, it wasn’t like that. It hardly even affected him. Don’t worry. Anyway, he’s the most amazing kisser the world has ever seen!” Buffy screamed. Willow smirked.
“Better than Angel?” Willow asked.
“Shut up. That was a one time thing. We were both a little tipsy and things happened. But yes, way better than Angel,” Buffy smiled.
“Well, don’t you dare let Angel know that Spike had been drinking before he drove you home. Angel will rip his throat out,” Willow warned.
“I won’t.”
