Pinky the Vampire Slayer: Part Four

by Kirbyclause

Pinky and the Brain slowly managed to crack the basement door wide enough to get the Brain's head in. Even though the two mice expected the complete silence of total abandonment, voices floated up to Pinky's somehow even more enhanced than mere genetic engineering ears.

Pinky whispered to the Brain, "I dunno Brain-it sounds like someone's already doing your scheme of global domination. You better put up a disclaimer so they don't sue you for copywright infringment." "Let us percieve a closer observation, I mistrust not your perceptiongs but the ability to interpret them."

The two mice crept quietly amongst the shelves that were scattered in the basement. Soon they spotted a figure in the shadows the size and shape of a mouse. The two lab mice quietly followed the figure, that is, until a sudden force pushed them out into the open.

"Why did you ask about their color Giles? Come on, spill.", Buffy demanded of her appointed mentor. "Very well, don't get tarty on me.", Giles attempted to clear some space. "A long time ago, I read a prophecy that went some where along the lines of 'A Slayer of the low kind shall come to meet the Slayer of the high kind/ the import being with the Slayer that lacks that which makes that a Slayer despite the kind/a Slayer that has color denoting what it lacks/and travels with a Watcher named for what a Watcher has'. It doesn't make sence, unless one considers 'kind' to mean 'species'. If those mice were a color that stood for something nesseccary to be a Slayer, then you would have already met her."

"My associate's name is Pinky, and I am simply the Brain.", the elder mouse began. The room was filled with mice, all seeming to cooperate with one another but lacking the genetic engineering that empowered Pinky and the Brain with superior intellect...well, the Brain at least. "We are tourists, who were collecting invaluable memories of Californian educational practices when we mistakenly travelled down a misleading corridor. We will extricate ourselves from your operations.", the Brain lied while attempting to edge Pinky in the direction of the exit.

"Not so fast my old chum!", a familiar voice called out. And Brain reacted to it. "SNOWBALL!", the Brain yelled.

"Well the mice weren't blonde, so that isn't it.", Xander told Giles. "Ethnicity isn't a enterable factor, Xander.", Giles replied, not only to him but the others.

Two minutes after sunset, Angel stepped from behind Buffy. "What about purple?", he asked. "And just how long were you here? What if had decided to stake anyone that was standing behind me?", Buffy demanded of him. Ever smooth was the reply-"Ever since sunset, and you wouldn't have noticed me.". "Ahem,", Giles gained the attention of his now amended audience. "That is a good suggestion, but Slayers aren't exactly royalty. It has to be something nesseccary to the girl that is the chosen girl in all the world, the GIRL (Get it now? Damn!) that is the Slayer."

"Hello, Pinky", Snowball stepped from the rear of the group surrounding Pinky and the Brain. "And soon to be 'Good riddance' Brain." Brain was more interested in the sight of his old compatriate rather than his words, after all Snowball was always trying to either take over the world and off Brain in the proccess or just off Brain in a proccess. "What is the muscular disfiguration of your cranial/ mandibular structure, Adolf Hamster?", the mouse asked.

"Nothing is wrong with my face, Brain.", Snowball walked around the mice but they turned to continue to face him. "Simply different, as are we all." Pinky and the Brain quickly turned and scanned the rest of the mice, but it was true-all of them had extended teeth and the same distortions of their faces. Snowball laughed, "Are you truly so unresearched."

"Oh, dear,", began the Brain. "Yes,", Pinky continued. "They do need sort of a good flossing, maybe even a pepperminty gel." The Brain cast a look of disgustion at his freind...associate at the moment. "They are vampires Pinky." The Brain turned to Snowball. "I guess I'll just have to burn my Library card when I get back from this... sightseeing (since I am tourist)."

"You aren't going back, Brain.", Snowball declared. "Your presence only goes to show that you were going to attempt my plan, and now that you ARE here you will only attempt to keep me from procceding." "And how are you going to keep us here?", the Brain counterd. "With Lima bean flavored lollipops?" "Oh, no! Not the Lima Bean Jelly Pops! Poit!", Pinky exhaled on a single breath. "Oh, *lollipops*. I guess that's okay then." Every vampire in the room showed there confusion at the manifestation of Pinky's typical ravings.

"Now Pinky!", the Brain commanded and took off running for the stais that led to the basement. But a fluttering came from above, and three forms landed infront of the Brain. "Hah, Cerebral-san.", the First said. "You have insulted are Master, so now...", the Second said. "Prepare to die!", the Third exclaimd. A sound of unfolding capes wooshed pass the Brain. "Aaoouu...", Pinky said awestruck. "Kung-Fu, Vampire Bats."

"No, NO, NO!", Giles exhaled. "What does a GIRL that is a Slayer have different about HER that those two mice have?" Giles glared at Xander prematurely and snapped, "Besides the fact that they're mice."

Willow cast a brief glow, but then it receeded. Everyone turned their attention to her. "Come on Will, whatcha got?", Buffy prodded. "It's too stupid.", Willow shyly denied. "Come on, Willow, you know nothing can be too stupid in a room where I am.", Xander supported. "You can repeat that at leisure.", Angel whispered. Xander turned on him quickly, "What was that?". "Pay attention to Willow, kid.", Angel replied.

"Well," Willow began. "...for some odd reason-Fuschia, Salmon, Peach, and Barbie Bright Red all lept into my mind for a second. Then it was gone." The entire group let out a sigh of resignation at being unable to deduce the color the mouse would display that would represent his difference from a girl.
